On Friday, December 14th, we attempted to cancel our Sling TV account and were not given the option. So I created a support ticket just to find out that our account was still active. After a bit of research, I came across a handful of mentions of this same problem going back at least as far as December 12th. The bottom line is that some users are reporting that Sling TV is either temporarily or indefinitely cancelling new sign ups.

So has anyone else had trouble? Did a refund or was their account actually cancelled? It seems like there might have been people who signed up just because they wanted to try it out (even though Sling TV has plenty of demos) only to find out after the fact that their account was cancelled.
