So, Michael Cera is playing an American, but I'm not entirely sure what that means. He is a regular part of the cast, as an American actor in that show. You've seen him, right?

Yeah. We have a question about a line that he says: My family has to eat, too. That feels like something that could be a part of a conversation we have on this show. But I don't think that is necessarily where that line came from. Is that correct?

No, it's true. It was something you wrote for the show. Did you find that a lot of people had issues with this particular line? It's more of an apology. But that it had been used many times previously.

Right, because that line also feels like something that could be said by a father to his children, saying, Sorry, you guys have to take care of yourself now, too. I need to get by. What did they tell you that it was intended to be? So, in the first episode, in season 2, the guy who was just killed by a drone had been living in America for several years. His family is supposed to have been here. And one of his sons is going to say, in that episode, I can't wait for the Americans to come back.

You were talking about having to eat, too. Did you understand what you were taking on, that you're basically taking on the American experience? I tried to play it all fairly close to my chest. Like I said, I'm a regular on the show. My friends are watching it, so they didn't really need to know. My mom and dad are watching it with me, but they didn't necessarily need to know.
