I called 1.1 customer support and they said that the ban might have been placed by their anti-bot measures in conjunction with my IP address. So the code I had was not accepted by the 1.1 client.

Anyway, I decided to try another registration code and it worked again. So I am back online now. I hope you can get it running on your PC as well!

Yes, even for registration code there was still some issues. It seems that if 1.1 have an issue they don't notify the users about it.

For the registration, you need to create your user name and also enter your email to confirm. To confirm, you need to open a web browser on your computer, type in the 1.1 domain and press enter. You should then see a screen which prompts you to enter your user name and password.

Once you enter the registration code, you will need to wait at least 3 minutes for your client to confirm your registration and to start serving web pages. Note that there may be temporary issues every now and then. If you encounter such an issue, please restart your computer and try again. You will not lose any data.
