Can you use Adblock Plus without paying?
My Adblock Plus account is running out of credits because I use only about 50% of the ads and it's been at that level for months.
However, I've got a lot of friends using Adblock Plus without paying and I don't want to lose my Adblock Plus account over this.
When you enable AdBlock Plus you can see the sites you have blocked (click on Enabled Blocked and you should see all sites) and then you can go and view the options for those that you do block and you can unblock or delete them all if you wish. It's fairly easy.
If you are concerned about that, just enable the block ads option and make a note of the sites that you want to block, then click on "block site" and it will take a while. Do not forget to save your bookmarks too (to the left of the tab), so you can easily find them again when unblocking. Adblock Plus now works as a part of the Firefox add-on installer/setup process - if you install with Adblock Plus, the ad blocker is automatically turned on by default. This has the advantage of automatically turning on the add-on for any new sites that you start browsing, but the disadvantage of making it hard to disable. The original installer had an option for disabling it after install, but it was lost in a recent update to the installer.
You'll notice that the ads will keep loading for a while, then some (not all) will come up and the block all button will become grayed out. When the ads have stopped, then click on "OK, show ads". Some sites, like some news sites, seem to only show a handful of ads after that anyway.
If you haven't used the AdBlock Plus for long, just use that for a bit, as there's only a very limited set of options to deal with the ads once you get used to it - though at the risk of annoying users of Adblock Plus who didn't know what it did yet. You'd probably want to go back to that once you've played around with the new settings though.
In the latest version of Adblock Plus you will need to manually delete cookies after each "session". If you are having trouble clearing them, try changing the number of sessions to 1, and you may find it does work.

Is AdBlock no longer free?
In a few hours you'll be able to take advantage of many sites that, before today, you were unable to view.
A huge part of our work and the reason why it is so interesting is because we don't just work on browsers. We also work on browsers using artificial intelligence: the algorithms which have been developed are tested on the Internet Explorer for Windows, on Safari for Mac, and Firefox on Linux. All your Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox will benefit from a faster web browsing experience. Your use of the Internet on these browsers can then continue uninterrupted.
Here is a detailed report of the changes we will make available to you by email on September 4, from when we will introduce the new features. The impact is significant: All our users will gain access to many sites which would have been inaccessible for months if not years (or ever). For example, AdBlock for IE was disabled on sites like Facebook and the New York Times in order to protect the privacy of its users. Now AdBlock will be available to everyone on more than 8.3 billion websites around the world And most people will discover new content they couldn't see, and enjoy new multimedia experiences. We're not interested in money, but it's essential to protect what is currently possible on the Internet and to improve your online experience. So it's important to us that you understand why we have to limit access to content. To do so, you must also understand that, in recent years, the way that Internet ads have increasingly infiltrated the web, making the Internet unusable for many users, and causing even some of your favorite sites to crash.
Ads that take space or interfere with text? Blocking this is much easier now! It's a question of freedom and your ability to be able to visit, read and share what you like. This is also a question of the future: you must be vigilant to enable the use of the open Internet and be vigilant to protect against attacks that could threaten it.
If we keep this openness, then the only way to guarantee it is to provide a good experience for the majority of Internet users around the world, all of whom are increasingly using your browser. For a few to keep access to certain content, they would be the exception in the majority of cases.
Is Adblock Plus totally free?
The most popular adblock plus alternative extension has had a price range.
What I'm not sure of is what has changed in this new version that's causing a lot of users to switch from Adblock Plus? This guide takes a look at the facts.
Adblock Plus Free Download v3.9 Final Updated
Adblock Plus is a web browser extension for Macs, Windows and Linux. Adblock Plus stops the annoyingly large number of ads on a web page. A lot of websites just don't like it.
Adblock Plus can help by stopping pages from loading every ad, but this makes web pages very slow. If you're going to use Adblock Plus you may as well use uBlock Origin.
There are a few things in this version: The ad blocker has been updated for Chrome 42. The blocklists have been updated. The extension now blocks all adservers to prevent them loading any more ads. You can still load ads on domains that you add manually. Adblock Plus Free Download v3.8 Fixed Issues Some users reported this "Adblocker is not responding" when it first came out, I have now fixed the Adblock Plus installer so there's no need to re-download. Hopefully that's what you were waiting for. I've also added a screenshot of the new version, so you can see the new features.
The changelog is below, but first let's take a look at the screenshots. There are three new options on this version of the Adblock Plus free web browser extension for Chrome and Firefox. The extensions are:
Allow Images from Some Domains - When enabled, the extension won't stop you from loading images on some domains. In other words, if there are a lot of really cool images on Twitter or Facebook that you'd like to load on a specific website, you can change this setting to allow them.
Only Load Images from Top Sites - Sometimes you'll be browsing a site with plenty of ads but it has some really cool images in them that you'd like to view.
