How do I reset my Safari browser history?
Question: ?
Answer: This article tells you how to change your Safari browser's search history. You can also use this information to manage bookmarks. But keep in mind that the information will be cleared after a certain period of time, when the next new history is saved. It can take a few days before this happens.
On the first tab, under Safari History, select the menu at the top of the screen. You can do a manual reset or automatic reset of the data. If you use the manual reset, then you will have to restore it with the previous set of data. If you use the automatic reset, then this data will be restored by the system, and there will not be any chance to recover the information.

How do I set Safari back to default?
I do not know if it's my computer, or the iOS that changed something.
I do use the Internet and Safari all the time. I'm just wondering how to set the browser back to its default.
And yes, I did not install a 3rd-party app. I used an iPhone I had been using before to browse the web. But when I bought my phone from a Sprint dealer, I did have a phone from Verizon. And I never got around to setting up my iTunes so that I could transfer my contacts. So maybe that's my problem. I think I'm going to go back to the Verizon iPhone and try setting up everything.
And, thanks! I'm looking forward to the other posts you may post. Well, I'm really frustrated right now. My iPhone is dead! I was downloading an app and the whole thing froze and my phone shut off and now it won't turn on.
It said that there was no power and battery in the phone. I went to the store I bought it from and they tried to charge my phone. It didn't even turn on! It's been dead for almost a year and I'm scared! What do I do? What should I do? How can I restore my phone? I want to get my money back. I don't want to get a new phone and lose all my contacts. How do I do that? What are some solutions? Please, if anyone can help me, I'm really, really desperate! I don't have any kind of solution for you except ask the Apple store where you bought the phone if they're able to do anything for you. They might just be able to restore it (back to its factory settings, or whatever) if you let them. They usually know about all kinds of weird stuff like this.
But unfortunately, I'm afraid they probably can't do much about it, just as I'm afraid your local store probably can't do much about it. I hope you have another backup of your stuff somewhere (even though you'll lose some important things if it happens again, I still feel sorry for people who just have a little or no backup when their phones can just stop working, just like you) and I wish you good luck!
How do I go back to normal mode in Safari?
I'm assuming you mean the "normal" Safari mode (eg you have a web page open in your Safari browser and you click on the icon in the top right corner to switch to "normal" mode). I'm not sure, but I don't think it's possible. I can't find any setting for this.
If you use a "third party" add-on, then there is no way to "uninstall" it. It's not a normal application and not like Windows programs.
So, if you installed an extension, try removing it by clicking on the icon (in the top right corner) and pressing the X button in the top right corner.
How do I restore Safari back to normal?
I used to get this problem about a week ago, and it was fixed with an update.
But now that I got back to the office I noticed it again.
Safari is very slow. It took several seconds for it to load one of my sites, even though I never had any problems before the update.
After some time waiting, I opened up the Preferences -> General tab and noticed the error on the top: "Safari's performance depends on system libraries; try downloading and installing WebKit. Also, check if a system process may be interfering with Safari by clicking the button below" This button was not there before the update. I clicked it, but it just took me to the Apple Support Site.
When I tried to reinstall Safari, the same thing happened, and I couldn't open my preferences, anything. So I restarted my computer, then turned it back on and went to troubleshoot again. Same issue. Then I rebooted my machine completely, then rebooted in safe mode, went back to safari, went to troubleshoot again, then it took me to the Apple Support Site.
In safari, on the bottom, it gives me an error saying "System.TypeLoadException: Could not load type 'System.Threading.ReaderWriterLock' from assembly 'mscorlib, Version=4.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=7cec85d7bea7798e'."
When I restart the computer, the next day when I try opening safari it says that a security problem is preventing it from opening, and requires me to fix it through the security settings. The weird thing is that every other week it will do this, then one week later everything will work perfectly fine. The only thing that seems to fix it is to reboot and turn it off and turn it back on.
It started doing this after I updated my OS to 10.2. In addition, a new popup came on the bottom stating that the process was not responding (the first time I ran it). I closed the pop-up and Safari worked as usual. After I had a similar problem and then reopened Safari, it worked again!
