How do I bypass parental controls to download apps?
My daughter has an iPad, and I've been trying to find out how to bypass parental controls to download apps.
I was under the impression that once you pay for them you can download them anyway, but this isn't the case. I would think that a family's iPads would be loaded with all sorts of content and entertainment, such as Netflix or something like that.
Here's what my daughter's friend said. (She thinks I'm weird for not knowing this:) "Yes, parents set up limits on where their kids can download things. But in your case, you bought it, so you shouldn't have any problems."
My question is how do I get around parental controls so that I can download apps? Re: ? My first suggestion would be to check your iTunes account and see if there are any apps you've already purchased that haven't been added to your account. If so, you might need to contact Apple Support to see what to do about that. Also, depending on which model of iPad you have, you may need to purchase additional software from Apple Support to bypass the restriction.
As far as how to bypass the parental controls, I'm afraid I don't know that. I'd recommend checking the above posts on here to see if any of them has some suggestions for you, though.
I know this is probably a simple question, but I can't find a solution that works. (She thinks I'm weird for not knowing this:) Thanks for any help! How exactly is your daughter's friend right when she says you "bought it"?
