Is there an app to reveal private numbers?
There's a feature in some chat apps where you can input your private number to make private calls or texts, and for example in WhatsApp, the feature seems to be called 'Whisper mode'.
I was curious to know if there are any apps that do this already, since it's kind of annoying for some people to have to remember their private numbers.

I think this is also present in Apple's iMessage app, but I could be wrong. I haven't tried it out myself though, but if you install the Google Play Store app from your phone, then try inputting the following into your search field: "whisper mode". You should get several results, and most of them should be the app mentioned above.
Whisper Mode is one of the great features I've been waiting for a long time. It is similar to Secret Chat on WhatsApp. Whisper mode lets you send text messages or make calls completely anonymously without displaying your phone number on your contact list. You can use it to send messages with friends and share sensitive information as well.
If you have any android phone, you can simply download Whisper Messenger. I don't know if there is an APK available for iOS.
If you want a different way, then you can use Secret Contact App. When you add a contact, you can choose secret contact and then input the contacts private number which will not be visible to anyone else.
Whisper Mode in Messaging apps is pretty common, such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and other messaging apps. If you're worried about your privacy, I suggest using it because it isn't just a way to protect your information, but it's a useful tool as well.
To answer your question more directly, the best way to find it is to go to Google play, search "Whisper messenger", and click the first result. From there, you can install this app for free and look through its settings. In the settings, you can change how your number is displayed, how messages are sent, who can reply to you, etc.
As for whether it's easy to find, I've looked for the most obvious place: in the regular search bar on Google, you can search for "whisper messenger".
Can you trace back a private number?
Is it possible to trace back a phone number one of these popular online services? We need to know if an ex's girlfriend would have any idea what the number is. They call once or twice a month, and it's been going on for about two years.
Re: ? Yes, most people that call it up wouldn't even know the phone number, but would just know the call came from them. I have an ex that calls my phone all the time. Its annoying, but I dont think they will give up the number anytime soon, so im just gonna ignore it.
If the number is not one assigned to you or the other person, then yes. If you get a voice mail on the number (as in, "Hi, this is xxx, leave me a message after the beep") then you will know who called, but not where they called from.
Note: the call is placed outside of the US. "We were on a high and mighty high, we were living by the sword and the gun. And it was going great, man, but then I started reading this book, and it talked about the power of love. The way it could change your whole world and your whole life. Man, I was like, wow. So I started reading it. I was telling everybody, 'Read this book.'"
Hulk Hogan. I have no idea. This is why I use my mobile phone which has my number on it and I'm always connected because they know if I'm home or not. Plus if someone is trying to scam you, they want to talk with someone who is in the house rather than a mobile phone which could be anywhere.
I do know. If they have your number stored, they will be able to trace it back.
If its not stored in a database, then its the equivalent of finding a needle in a haystack. I don't see that being possible any more. There are ways to fake the phone number.
But if its possible, you can find out the number and the reason for the call.
