Will The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers have a Season 2?

Why did Mighty Ducks game changers get Cancelled?

The Mighty Ducks movies (1992-2000) are quite possibly my all time favorite series of cartoons ever. I remember watching them as a kid and going with my family to see the first movie at theater, and then I got to see all three movies in theaters and on DVD. But what makes them so special is that they have an entirely original story and don't try to copy other series and movie plots. No other movie/cartoon series comes close to being as original, imaginative, and fun. They're like their own version of the best Disney cartoons combined. There really aren't any flaws that can make it bad; if there's something wrong, it just goes to prove you never know everything! The Mighty Ducks are all characters, not cartoons. They all have personalities, quirks, and reasons for doing things. It's this that makes it so enjoyable. In all honesty, Mighty Ducks games never get old, there was always something new to see. When a new game was released, it could change the storyline, it could take place in a different location, it could even bring someone new into the storyline or change history. Some of the games were very successful and the first one was a huge success. This led to the first movie which brought us the original characters and storyline. After the second movie, a third came out, and now after the last game, a 4th was coming out. However, Mighty Ducks got cancelled recently, this made no sense to me, especially when I think about how amazing the rest of their games and movies were. So why did Mighty Ducks get cancelled? Why did all these good games get cancelled?

3 JaeC. My guess would be that it's for making money for Disney, or that it has been cancelled because Disney owns all the rights to the characters. But I'm willing to be proven wrong. What do you guys think?

First thought, it may be that Disney, or maybe Disney / Pixar didn't feel like they needed to make more of the Mighty Ducks movies. You know, that reason we get in trouble in school. We want to have fun and do what makes us happy, but they think doing what makes them money will make them happy.

Why was Emilio Estevez not in Mighty Ducks game changers?

Well, I'll leave it to this film's director to explain.

I don't think we will hear that answer from him, though. But Emilio and his director of course, John Schultz, talk more about that here. And there are actually very interesting insights into how the first movie ended up with so many mistakes in it.

A film is made with one big picture. With hundreds of little pictures. Like an onion; if you cut the onion. A lot of times it can't be put back together. You had people in your office asking questions about all these points. But for a good reason: because the audience wants answers. The more people who say I didn't get it the more they do. It was never meant to go over your head but to go right on your head, if you will. That has been my experience when I put my films out there.
