How do I reset my Screen Time password after failed attempts?

I was playing a game on my smartphone and tried to reset my password by clicking the screen time app at home and got a warning message that it is not possible to reset my password.

Is there any way to do it? It appears that you've successfully changed your password (using Settings > Apps). If you continue to try to access your Screen Time account, it will ask for your current password again. Assuming you've changed your password, it will work.

Screen Time is pretty easy.

It's one of the only sections that allows you to be lax, for instance if your child is old enough to not need supervised time, but still isn't quite ready to use the apps by themselves, you can choose to use Parental Controls and block all Screen Time Apps until they are ready. Or allow them access, with limited access (you have the option of three attempts to get out of this setting), that way they can still use them, but it won't affect them. You'll find the setting in Settings - Screen Time - Restrictions - Rules & Limits - Attempts left - Number of attempts.
