Why is there no cast icon on my Netflix?
I am having a strange problem where I can watch Netflix on my PC, but I cannot cast anything to my TV.
The icons for casting or the cast icon on the TV never show up. I have tried different browsers and devices, and it seems that my cast function works fine on other devices, but not on my PC or TV. I have cleared my cache, cookies, etc. On both my PC and TV. I have turned off any "hide apps from the start screen" on my TV. I have tried resetting the TV, and I have uninstalled/reinstalled Netflix. It will still not work. I've even tried installing Netflix on my phone and it doesn't work there either. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled the Netflix app on my phone. I have rebooted my phone as well as my TV. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this?
No Cast Icon on Netflix. Hi and welcome to TSG! Please provide more details about your problem. I would recommend that you restart your device (PC, laptop, phone, etc.) and then connect the device to your TV (using the HDMI cable) to see if this helps. If not, then please send us some screen shots of the issue.
If you haven't already, please turn on the option "hide apps from the start screen" and use the arrow keys to navigate between apps. This will allow us to view the apps that are currently running on your device. Please note that the icons may not be shown due to a system setting, so it's important to check for the cast icon on the TV.
If the icons do appear, but the cast icon doesn't appear, then it might be related to a setting on your TV. It's possible that the device may need to be updated to the latest firmware. You can access your TV's settings by pressing the button above the remote control. If your TV is connected to the internet via Wi-Fi, please try connecting to the internet using your phone or another device. This will ensure that all of the apps are up-to-date and will remove any caching issues.
If you don't have access to Wi-Fi on your TV, you may need to update your TV firmware.
Why can't I cast my Netflix to my TV?
So, I had an older Samsung smart tv and set it up to cast to my Apple TV.
This worked perfectly. So far. I would get no picture from Netflix or Apple TV when it came to casting. At least it's working, even though it's still a problem.
So I changed out the TV for an LG (which is the only HD TV I want). When I went to connect my Netflix or Apple TV to it, it wouldn't "cast" at all.
I tried to cast my Netflix and Apple TV. If I start playing a video file on Netflix in the TV via the Apple TV, it shows the video but no image. When I start a movie on Apple TV, it plays, but no image.
I'm running an LG TV with a HDMI cable, it's connected to my PS3 via S-video, and of course it works perfectly fine on my PS3. The only thing I've tried besides changing the TV from HDMI to S-video is putting in one adapter and switching cables. But I tried both directions.
It's working, at least the PS3 recognizes that it's being used to watch a movie and not play music. My question is: Do I just have a dead TV? Is this common when dealing with HDMI from the PS3 to an older TV? How do you troubleshoot this problem? What has happened here is that you hooked your PS3 directly to the TV instead of using the PS3 > TV cable, which was working fine. With that method, you don't need to use the HDMI-cable method, since the PS3 is supplying the signal.
But as you can see in my last post, your PS3 was sending the TV's display into the PS3, so your PS3 couldn't tell whether a real TV input signal was coming in or a TV signal from a cable box or something else on the TV. Try plugging the PS3 back into the TV if it's a digital signal (S-video). Even if you have to use the old S-video jack on the PS3, it should connect (and probably work) because the PS3 knows it's being displayed on a display, not on the TV screen.
Your PS3 and TV's HDMI ports are identical.
Why is my cast button not showing up?
I have a simple jsf page with a commandlink.
The commandlink renders a button. The button does not render properly in IE7. I'm using a cast button ().
When I run the page in IE7, the button does not show up. When I view the source in IE7, the button is rendered, but it is rendered as a normal .
When I inspect element in chrome, it says the button is a sap.Button, which is ok.
How can I get this to render properly? I have tried toggling the mode on the button, but that has no effect. It turns out that my css was causing this. I had a class name that did not match the default css.

How to download Android app and how it works?
Here we have covered, How to download Android App on your phone or tablet. It is very simple method by which you can download the apps from Google Play and install it on your phone. We will also show you how it is working and what's the advantage of this method over the official app store method.
Before installing any app on your phone/tablet we suggest that you should check out its permissions. There are different levels of permission required by the app, whether an app will make a call or send message via sms or what are they for.
What are permissions? When you open an app on your mobile you are asked to grant access to certain aspects of the device. For example, an app might need access to your device's camera, microphone, location and contacts. These settings provide important information about you to the developer of the app. The app then uses this information to provide you with a better experience. For example, an app could use your location to put a push notification on your screen or the app could use the permission to send you instant messages.
