If you are like me, you get stuck on making sure that your site is fun.

It can be very easy to fall into the trap of making a fun site for your business or brand name. Yes, you can say things like I want a fun website or My brand name is so fun but what about you? Are you the same way? It's important to not only have a fun website but to know that it's fun too! The following are five tips to help your website become more fun! Make it simple. There is no way around it; your website will be simple if it is made out of one page and is no longer complicated than that. The main key here is to make the website simple for the person browsing it. In today's world, the average person will be very used to the many pages of a website that take them through and then they are taken to a page that is not as clear on what to do.

If your website takes too many clicks, you are losing your audience. It is important to make sure your site is very easy to navigate and easy to read and understand.

Make it simple in your design. If you are going to use images, it is important that you know that you are using images that are not distracting. A lot of times it can be very tempting to put up a large graphic on a background but unless you need to, do not. Using large graphics will take away from the fun of your website. You don't want your website to look like you are a serious professional business owner. You want your audience to have a good time when they visit your website.

Create great landing pages. Creating a landing page is a great way to make sure that your audience is able to clearly understand exactly what to do when they land on your page. This can be done in many different ways, but I think that you are going to want to do this once again by using simple language.

You want to make sure that your landing page is so simple that if a person was having a problem with their computer or something, they could easily find the way to go to the next step of a purchase process or whatever you are selling.

What is the most fun website?

That's like asking What's the most fun thing to eat?

Or What's the most fun sport to watch? For me it's playing D&D. Whether I'm playing D&D or watching someone else play D&D, it's the most fun thing to do.

And let me give you a glimpse of why that is. First off, D&D is a game of roleplaying. Roleplaying requires imagination. Not just anyone can be a fighter and think of a way to beat up the bad guy. Even those with great skill at the game tend to limit themselves to what they know, to what they already are. They can't conjure an image of themselves holding a greatsword, nor can they feel the weight of a hammer smashing their foe's skull in. Playing D&D opens up your imagination to do such things.

Furthermore, you will see people who are normally shy or quiet during the game become more engaged and come alive. If it was you that took the spotlight, you'd get more chances to play.

There's another reason to play D&D. It teaches you how to think on your feet and improvise as you do so. This is one of the core concepts that underlies improvisation. And this leads me to the third reason why playing D&D is fun:

You will start to learn how to improvise and this will help you out when playing improv. You see? The more you learn about D&D the more opportunities for you to apply those lessons will arise in the real world. This will make you more creative and more adept at making the other players laugh and having fun.

I've seen many of my friends try and fail at improv when they don't have the background that gives them an understanding of what they are doing. Improv is all about playing in the moment, reacting to something, and being willing to adapt. Once they learn this key skill, they see the results in real life and in their games. And it's fun!
