Sourcing is what happens when you buy an item from a company that you've never heard of before. A company that you've never bought from before. Sourcing is when you buy from a company that is not on your radar. And it's when you have no idea where your product came from, but you're comfortable with it.
For example, I was at a yoga studio recently and were told that we would be doing a practice with a local non-vegan massage therapist who had very strong opinions about veganism. It was a decision that I hadn't thought much about, until that moment.
What's interesting is that there's no way that I could know the truth about the massage therapist's opinion. I didn't know who she was, I didn't know what she was going to do or say, and I didn't know if I even wanted to be in the same room with her.
What to expect after muscle scraping?
I've been having this problem for a long time but just recently (last 3 weeks) it has gotten worse. My entire back, including my rear hamstring are very painful and it gets especially bad at night or when I stand too long. The pain gets slightly better for a little bit if I lay down on my side, but only for a few hours at the most. I don't notice it much at all while I'm walking or doing things, but at night and after sitting for a long time it is a real problem.
What should I expect after scraping? Are there any things that I should know to avoid? What foods should I avoid eating? Any exercises that might help? My muscles feel tight and sore, sometimes I get headaches if I try to lay down and relax a lot. I also have a very small scar right above my hamstring.
For a couple of weeks, I didn't get out of bed at all, because of the pain. It felt like it was going to be a really long painful recovery.
I went to the doctor and got a prescription for strong anti-inflammatory medication. (ibuprofen). It took a few weeks before the pain was really gone.
Another thing that helped a lot was massaging/focusing on my hamstring muscles. At first, it felt like my muscles were being torn apart. But with repeated focus and massage, I was able to relax my muscles enough so that they weren't as sore.
This happened to me as well. However, I believe in natural medicine, I had no painkillers at all. I started doing yoga and muscle stretching. The pain lessened and in 3 weeks, it was completely gone.
A month later and it came back. I had to do another round of physiotherapy and then it stopped again. So I don't take medication ever since then.
I still practice yoga and exercise but I am more aware of what I'm doing. After an injury, it is common to have a muscle strain which is not painful. There is also a chance that the muscle may not heal properly because of how quickly it was stretched, and you will need to wait for it to heal. But the strain should improve after about 10 days. Some people just don't realise that this is a normal part of the healing process and therefore may experience more pain than expected.
