How can I locate an IP address?

I'm trying to create a bot in python which will log information in a file.

The problem is that I'm completely unable to locate an IP address to write the file. I tried ipconfig from cmd but it does not return anything and ifconfig only returns 2 unknown devices. Thank you for any suggestions. This is what you are looking for: As seen in that site, it's in a text file so you should be able to download the file and read it line by line.

Can you find IP address on Google Maps?

Google's servers may just be as vulnerable to hacking and other internet attacks as you are, at least for your email or web surfing activities.

While users may think that they can browse the internet anonymously by using a service such as anonymized web browser Tor or various proxy services, it is actually quite easy to identify a user, at least when using popular tools such as Google Maps and Google Earth, simply by their IP address and the location they appear to be located in. This could be bad for a few reasons. One, people who have something to hide might be concerned that their IP address will be linked to them. Two, someone who wants to avoid people knowing that they access illegal content might visit sites that contain such content.

The good news, from an attacker's point of view, is that there are some tools to exploit Google's servers, allowing the attacker to determine where in the world people are based on their IP address and thus how they might use Google's products. Google Maps IP geolocation via Tor. Geolocation on maps is done based on a user's IP address, which is a numerical code of the type 192.168.0.112 and thus provides no information about the location of the computer or the type of ISP used.

Tor or proxy services also give no indication as to the identity of the user in most situations; however the Tor developers have acknowledged that under specific circumstances, it is possible to determine the home address of a user, based on "a small but nontrivial subset" of his/her browsing history. What's in a name? One problem with Tor is that the Tor project makes available many different programs and browsers (with many different add-on and settings) with each giving a different home address. In fact, it is possible to create a Tor browser that has no "official" home address on the Tor Project site as it was created by default. In fact, the Tor project states:

As a general rule, nobody knows about your location - Tor users are often unaware of the sites they visit, the addresses they connect from, or even which sites they connect from. Users know they are on the Tor network, but nobody else knows.

That doesn't mean that anyone who knows the Tor website addresses would be able to correlate it to the identity of a user.
