How do I import a JSON API into Excel?

How do I open a JSON file in Excel?

I have a JSON file with multiple rows in it, and I am trying to open it up in Excel.

My problem is that after I have tried quite a few ways to get Excel to open my file I no longer receive the error message.

I am trying to get the JSON code formatted in the way that Excel likes it so I have tried opening the file via: Save as (XLS) - CSV - No name - xlsx. Open with - Advanced Installer - Excel Open - No Name - xlsx. I am using the "Advanced Installer" software to try and open up the file in Excel. I have even tried removing the "No name" portion of the option but still cannot open it in Excel. The file is very simple with only one object within it. I am only getting a white screen when I click "Open".

This is the link to my JSON file: Thank you for any suggestions! With some help, I was able to open the JSON file. The problem with how I originally tried opening the file was that I assumed the file would open up in the same way Excel would normally do, and it wouldn't work because of this. If someone else is having similar problems, try opening a JSON file in a plain text editor and saving the file with the extension xls. This will allow you to save the file from within Excel. Once you save it as a xls, then it should open up perfectly and be formatted in the way that Excel wants it.
