Is Surfshark any good as a VPN?

Does Nord or Surfshark have easier to use apps?

I was going to buy Surfshark, but I am thinking of changing. I currently use an iPhone and iPad and am looking at the Android apps. I have a few questions:

What do you prefer? Is Surfshark easier to use? Is Nord easier to use? What are the pros and cons of each? Do they have as many features? If I have time, I will read through the threads, but I don't want to waste my time reading about features I don't care about.

Thanks for your time, and don't hesitate to give any advice. I'm not a surfer but I have surfed on the iPhone. The app I used was called Surfshark. It's pretty much like the iPhone app but it has a feature where you can set your position in a queue so you can see where others are. It's pretty good.

I don't know if it's like the iPhone app, but the app I use is called nord. I am not a surfboarder, but I think it has a pretty good app.

I am not a surfboarder either, but I have surfed on the iPhone. And Surfshark is a great app.

Which VPN is faster: NordVPN or Surfshark?

This is a follow-up to my previous article which was about whether I should use NordVPN or Surfshark for my VPN needs. I have already been using Surfshark for a while now so I wanted to see how they compared. NordVPN came next.

In this article, I will be comparing the performance of both VPN services. I have used Surfshark before so it was a very easy decision for me. I chose NordVPN because I had never used it and its VPN servers are based in the UK and not in America like Surfshark.

I will be using a Laptop and a Desktop PC to test the speed of the VPN services. Here are the specifications: The test stats will be represented below. The speeds are the average of several tests and the error bars represent the range of the server speed data.

Average Speed. 4 Mbps. 7 Mbps. Device. Laptop (Surfshark). Desktop PC (Surfshark). Laptop (NordVPN). Desktop PC (NordVPN). Surfshark DNS Speeds. 75 Kbps. 45 Kbps. NordVPN DNS Speeds. 55 Kbps. I will be using a random server from each VPN to test the speed and I will use three servers in each. Both Surfshark and NordVPN offer a fast internet connection and both are capable of securing your connection from hackers and surveillance. Both offer a speed of about 5 Mbps.

Surfshark VPN. Surfshark is a fast VPN service that offers a free plan to new users who sign up and make their first payment within 24 hours. The free plan is a great option especially if you are just getting started. I have used the free plan and it was very fast.

Surfshark offers a wide range of VPN servers in 28 countries. The servers are divided into three categories: These are the countries the servers are based in. For instance, the United States and Canada are in the Americas category, Europe is in Europe and Asia is in Asia. Surfshark allows you to change the server, but once you select your server, you can't change it.

Which is better: Surfshark VPN or NordVPN?

Regular viewers of this channel will be aware of my current frustration with the number of service providers I'm forced to use. My pernicious peeve of the moment is the lack of stable, as opposed to stable-ish, server hosting in Malaysia. A stable ISP is one that does not restrict uploads or downloads, or one that does not automatically switch it's speeds from whatever is the default maximum to the slighest amount possible, minute by minute never offering more than 25Mbps to any given website or even individual file.

In the recent past, we've had to use Lebara with OVH Services, Uleats, and Serco Internet, Koo (Hokie), and now we've also had to use no-name fixed line providers IP connections. What really drives me nutty about being stuck with this mediocre service provision is not that their speeds are so crappy (they're not, they're pretty good) but that it takes longer for me to download a couple of megabytes of photos and videos to an Android device. That is nothing but bullshit.

Now, IP assigned with one of the no-name fixed line providers like Koo will be assigned to everybody on the network, and if you dedicate yourself to getting paid, you can theoretically wrack up unlimited bandwidth per month. But at best, the reason why nobody else gets to use the same IP will be that you can't file anywhere, or file anymore, because everybody else who's used to being unlimited will all conspire to preset the file transfer limits to whatever maximum speed they have, and perhaps some may even flaunt that as well. But exactly how else does a regular user get to pay for unlimited internet if everybody else in the neighborhood will be using fake occupancies? This is what I pay for overseas. That is all there is to it.

If we had decent ISP service here we would have built an entire economy around broadband. I wouldn't trade IP speeds for anything, even unlimited when I could be enjoying unlimited bandwidth like everybody else does. And we'd have national fibre back then.

What to do about it? So this is the situation we're in.

My VPN experience starts from when I started using a VPN in 2022. In that first year I connected to a few VPN services and none of them was capable of delivering the speed I was using on a daily basis. It was difficult to find a service that was fast enough. I have tried a few but none were fast enough.

For my favorite VPN service, I have used Surfshark for the last three and half years. This is without a doubt the fastest VPN service I have used to date. Never before did Surfshark beat its own speed records. I miss Surfshark when I am not connected to a VPN.

The NordVPN service is based in Panama and uses the OpenVPN protocol. NordVPN offers a free version but only for Windows and macOS users. They also offer a paid version for Android and iOS users.

I have used NordVPN for over a year and it has been a really good experience. My connection is always fast when I connect to a VPN and NordVPN is the only VPN I have used that meets my needs.

I have even used the free version of NordVPN when I was on a Windows system and I was still impressed with the speed of the connection. I saw a small improvement when I connected to a VPN with the paid version of NordVPN.

I hope you can benefit from this information and decide which VPN provider is better. In my opinion Surfshark is the fastest VPN provider.

Surfshark Speeds. I will begin by taking a look at Surfshark and see how fast it is. I will also see what other services are available.

The first test is using Torrentflux.
