How do I turn parental controls off?

How do I change my child's Google Account to normal?

Our child has a google account, that is supposed to be "private".

I have been using my computer to check everything. However, now my 11 year old nephew looks at her account. How can I change her account to a normal one so that she cannot look at it from school? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

In addition, if you are not legally responsible for your daughter's social media usage and you are attempting to protect your daughter from the consequences of any actions she performs, then it is not possible to change her account (or remove her name) without deleting her account and creating a new account. If you have a business relationship with your daughter (eg, as her boss or teacher), then she may be able to change her account on her own without your help, but doing so will be risky and could even cause more problems for her as well as exposing her to additional risks. That said, the safest thing to do is to let your daughter make her own choices and not let you interfere.

We suggest that you remove the computer access for your nephew's computer and use it as your own. Then, when your daughter reaches an age where she can handle the computer and social media alone, use the opportunity to let her know about safe online behaviors.

The problem with all of this is that Google seems to be hiding all of the names that come up when you search, and there are some of us with two young children who need to find everyone online. I am sorry, but the fact that you can not change the information without deleting the account means that, at this time, your daughter's account is probably the best you can get.

In any case, we do appreciate your questions and hope that you can find a better solution in the future. As noted above, many parents believe they can control their children's personal information online. We have found, however, that parents generally do not have any way to remove their children's information on various sites and databases (even after removing them from the accounts themselves). It would be a mistake for us to say that it is impossible to remove your child's personal information; however, we must tell you that trying to do so is a dangerous venture.

If your child's information needs to be changed, then we recommend that you work with her directly to set up a new account that only she will use.

How do I turn parental controls off?

I am not sure how to turn parental controls off.

I went into the menu and went into settings and everything and there is no option for parental controls. I have my phone rooted and I use a custom rom on it so it is very easy to root and I think that might be why it doesn't have the parental controls. Do I need to get a different rom? Can I download and use a different rom? ? I'm a kid. I don't want them. Please help me. Thank you.

2 Answers. You can download the free "adb" app from the play store which will allow you to root your phone, and then there's a couple of ways to do this. First, you can "flash" an "update.zip" to the firmware of the rom you installed, and it will install the ROM onto the device. Second, you can use a program like Z4A's "SuperOneClick" (you can get it here: ), which allows you to flash a .zip file, and there's a tutorial here: for step by step instructions. As far as setting parental controls go, you will need to find the appropriate section in the ROM's settings menu, or go into the Play Store app, and search for "Parental Controls". Here's a tutorial for doing so:
