How do I unlink my child from Family Link?
For a child who is in the process of applying to be considered for Family Link, you must log into your online My Family Account on the following website.
If you cannot log in at the time, then your child can apply online and you can log in later to change their application status.
The last step in the Family Link application process is to sign up for Family Link. To sign up for Family Link, you will need your child's birth certificate, Social Security number, SSN, and birth date. If your child has an SSN but it is not on file with the Department of Health, you can get it by calling 1-800-TBI-FAMILY (843-3632).
Next, go to My Family Account and log in. From the My Family Account page, click on Family Link. At the bottom of the page click on "Application Status." Next, enter the child's information in the "New" section and click "Save Changes."
You can also download the necessary forms by clicking on the link under the title of the question and selecting the appropriate forms. The forms can be downloaded in either PDF or HTML format. Once you have completed the forms, you can print them out and turn them in to the county office.
How do I enroll my child for Family Link? The enrollment process for family link is the same for both children (even if they are adopted) and parents (even if they are not married). Create an account on. Click on "Apply for Health Care Benefits". Under "Apply for benefits," enter your full name, address, phone number, email address, and payment methods. If you are not married, your spouse's name and mailing address will automatically be added.
Click on "Next" to complete the application. Once the application is complete, you will receive a confirmation email. If you did not receive one, then you have not submitted the application.
If your child is already receiving Medicaid, you will receive a call from Medicaid. Call our toll free hotline at 855-TBIFAMILY to be connected to a Medicaid representative.
How do I turn off parent access code for Family Link?
I tried to turn off the parental control for Family Link on a new phone for my daughter.
I went into the app, clicked on the gear wheel, then clicked "Turn Off Parental Controls". It takes me to a page that says "You are accessing a new device. You are unable to turn off Parental Controls for this new device."
If I do not turn off the parental control, when she tries to open the app, she gets a message about the parental control and the message is on my account. I am logged in and have tried as well as logged in as her with no luck. I also tried using two different phones to try and turn it off and it seems to be the same message. Is there anything else I can try?
My daughter wants to keep the parental control on her phone, but not my account. I turned off parental controls on my Android yesterday and just logged into my Google account and set up my new Apple iPhone. I wanted to turn off the parental control and was unsuccessful as I had on my Android yesterday.
We have an older (but not so old) Samsung Galaxy S6 and the parental control is not working. We tried to turn off the parental control but it won't work. Also tried as a guest, also doesn't work. Any ideas?

How do I remove parental controls without a password?
Is there a way to remove parental controls without a password?
I live in New York State and it says that I need a password. And, my husband uses the same password as me so no matter what password I input it won't take me anywhere. It's really frustrating because I'm not willing to give them my password. My daughter is almost 4. She never used a computer so this was all pretty new to her.
I agree with your first comment - if it's working, what's the problem? Also, I'd try resetting the router to factory settings. As for getting around the restrictions, you can use an IP filtering program like IPblock or Parental Control (for free). I know when we got our first internet modem, we spent all night long trying to figure out how to get around the restrictions. We finally figured it out, and we've used it ever since.
We've always gotten around it by setting it to a static IP address, then entering that into the website. If you do a google search of "how to setup parental control on internet" there are some videos on youtube, though I think they are talking about macs. ? This topic has three sub-topics: How to remove parental controls without a password. Why I don't have a password for parental controls. How to regain access to the Internet (if you've lost it). From your post it seems you want to turn off parental controls for this computer. If that's the case then you just go to that ISP's website and follow their directions. That is the correct way. Most of them are really good at giving instructions. And they are the ones that set up these parental controls in the first place. So if they haven't done that for you then they haven't set them up and you are in the clear. The only time you have to enter a password on the ISP's site is if you are using parental controls. (This is true for other types of password-protected websites.)
Your ISP may be doing this to prevent you from doing things you shouldn't be doing.
