Is there anything worth watching on Netflix right now?
The other day, I was looking to kill time with the wife and found a Netflix show that I had never seen. It was called the 'Odd Couple' and I couldn't believe I hadn't seen it before.
I don't remember the premise, but it was a farce set in an Irish bar. Two men are trying to make a quick buck out of an old man who drinks himself stupid and one of the men gets into a spat with a fellow barman which results in a fight. So they decide to team up and take turns to be the bouncer for the old guy.
This is just pure and simple entertainment. I could tell from the beginning that these two guys were going to be a riot. The writing was good and funny.
The best thing about the show was that the performances were not hammed up or over acted. Everything just came across as natural and honest.
It's a simple story but it still works brilliantly. There are farces like this all the time. I think every night at the pub, there are a few shows that you can watch and they have something different.
If you haven't seen it yet, then what are you waiting for? What are some of your favourite Netflix series?

87 vernacular for the new version of Microsoft Office and Windows? I'd like to know what is the vernacular for the new version of Microsoft Office and Windows? It's kind of funny because there is no mention of them on their website, and I had to call the office tech support to find out what was new. The term you are looking for is a "service pack". These service packs have been very common since Win98. These are meant to fix bugs or add features (and have a nice tagline).
As far as the new version of Office, it was announced this week that Office 2025 would be released on October 14th. This is basically the last feature packed update before Office 2025.
As far as the new version of Windows, it was announced that the preview would be released on March 9th (but only for a limited time). Microsoft releases a product and it takes them about 1 year to get the product out. If they don't announce that the product is coming out then the product is done.
As far as the new version of Windows, it was announced that the preview would be released on March 9th (but only for a limited time). If MS is gonna keep all the old legacy stuff in office, then why not give it a fresh name, instead of Office 2010? I don't want to use Office 2025 as my primary productivity tool (I think that's what it's called? But even if I want to use it to go back and forth with my coworkers, I can't do it without having a bunch of patches and updates that I'll have to download and install to make everything work. Plus, I'm still stuck with crappy file locking and other problems that were a problem in the past, but were fixed by newer versions of Office.
I mean, I love Office 2025, but I've had enough. Now I want something that's not riddled with security and stability issues.
