How do I see login attempts on iPhone?

If I look at the activity log in iPhone, I can see that one of my app accounts has several attempts to login in a short period of time.

I assume that this is due to a security breach or a brute force attack and I want to see more detail about these logins, but the details about the login attempt are missing from the log. You should use Security.framework to get detailed information about attempted logins.

Specifically, you'll need to get a list of login attempts by calling SecKeychainItemFreeContent. See the iOS Security Reference.

How many failed passcode attempts to reset iPhone?

Does it depend on the current version of iOS? I have an iPhone 3G, and I keep getting a "wrong passcode" message even when it's clearly not my passcode. I'm sure I changed the passcode just fine, but every time I try to change it, it seems like the old one is still in place. How can I change it?

It might be worth trying something like removing and re-adding your SIM card (or SIM card & phone together). As with many things Apple the iPhone will get into a weird state where it appears to think your iPhone is locked up if you don't unlock it first.

I've also had strange behaviour where a SIM card or phone battery (even if not plugged into any charger) can cause the iPhone to go into this weird state where you need to enter a code. However on the other hand it does work.

I had that problem too, only that it didn't accept that I entered a wrong passcode and that's when I decided to do a factory reset. But I did not need to go into the 'iTunes Store' to download the new Passcode. It was already there, ready to go.

I guess it's a kind of protection from me not being able to use the phone without entering a new passcode. And a kind of bad feeling about having forgotten to change the passcode.

I have a problem with my iPhone 4S.

When I start up the phone, I press the home button to get to the home screen, and then press the lock button to put the phone in fast-mode. Then, when I press the power button again to turn the phone off, the phone won't turn off. The screen goes to sleep and a red dot flashes in the upper left corner of the display.

When I reboot, everything works fine. There is no sign of trouble on the screen.

It will list your previous iPhone passcodes and it also tells you if the device was ever used without a passcode. I've personally only ever done this on an iPad mini because you're basically given the info on the device after you've signed in with a passcode, so there's no reason not to check it.
