How do I fix Safari on my iPhone?

How do I uninstall Safari and reinstall my iPhone?

I have an iPhone4s from AT&T and for some reason Safari is not working.

It tells me "Safari can't open because there is a problem with its main JavaScript library. Safari itself may be damaged." I have reinstalled it many times but it still is the same problem.

Can anyone please tell me how to uninstall Safari and reinstall it? I'm having an extreme difficulty with this problem. Re: ? Well you could probably install it in iTunes, just search for it.

If this is a new phone or an old phone that is getting more problems, I'd say to go to the AT&T store and see if it is fixed or just call your service provider. You might as well get your money back (if they do give you a chance) and go elsewhere, I'm using BB these days - I have no problems with this (just wish BB wasn't such a pain on my old Droid). Also if it is only on the home page. Try a different browser and see if you get the same problem.

Good Luck.

What I say is what you can do - but don't use the phone as its meant to be used - don't go and post about it. If you really like AT&T then fine - but in case they do fix it, then you'd rather pay AT&T to fix it than not buy it at all. It might be worth a try and ask your provider about this issue, if its a brand new device and your account is paid up (not contract) ask about a refund? I've just upgraded my HTC Incredible S to an iPhone 4 due to problems with the GPS, which I've never had before but now suddenly started to happen. I'd like to have my service on my phone back again. Would it be possible for me to download iTunes from this forum, sync my iPhone with it and then sync back again with my phone again? My provider won't tell me what went wrong, I did read in a different forum however that there has been problems with AT&T.

No I'm sorry that you were not told exactly what went wrong.

How do I fix Safari on my iPhone?

I was playing a game on my iPhone, and it said "unresponsive".

I tried pressing the home button, but it still wasn't responsive. I got up and walked away from the computer, and when I came back, my iPhone was frozen. I could press the home button to turn it off and on, but nothing else. I tried to open safari, and it opened, but it had no text and I couldn't do anything. It was like my iPhone was in safe mode, and I couldn't do anything. Please help me.

We need to be able to help you without having to see your device. If you could post a screen shot of your device that would be helpful. I don't know what model your device is or what version of iOS. I would suggest a reset of your device using the instructions at . Once you have your device back up you will need to backup your data to your computer. You can do this using iTunes and iTunes will sync all of the apps on your device. From there you can re-install the apps you may have lost.

Hi.If it's possible to turn off the power of your iphone & the power button wont turn off your phone. If it's not possible, then this will not be the solution. So please turn off your phone & wait for 15 min. If your phone is still not working, you will have to remove the battery and charge it.

If it's still not working after 15 minutes then you need to call Apple for technical support. They can help you with any problem.

Hi friend I am facing same problem after one year of iOS update I am not able to boot my iphone 4s it shows apple logo screen then shows my iphone not responding.

How do I reset Safari back to normal?

I have a MacBook Pro 4,2 about 4-5 months ago.

Since then, after upgrading to Lion I started having problems with Safari.e. When accessing new sites (in a good or bad manner), the page always appears very slow (or non responsive at all), making me think my browser is not working properly. In such cases I would open the activity manager in the sidebar and Safari freezes there. No other application running on the Mac is experiencing that, but only Safari.e. If I quit with Force Quit the activity manager doesn't even appear anymore. Sometimes I restart the Mac only to have the problems resurface once more. I tried to reset the System (by deleting and reinstalling everything from preferences folder), to no avail. I could not get the activity manager to reappear without doing some of the steps described below (or something similar). So what should I do? Anyone has a suggestion to make Safari work properly again?

Quitting Activity Monitor does not necessarily work. Your computer might crash and need a reboot or your power settings might be set incorrectly and it will crash and need a reboot as well. You can check your current setting by opening Terminal and typing this command:
Sysctl kernel.pidmax and make sure you don't see the number 2024 as a response. If you do, I recommend you change your configuration in the System Preferences. See the comments for more instructions.

As far as the browser's speed goes, I recommend you download iStat Menus and try to see what's eating up the memory.
