Google says that it will throttle at 10 mbps, and there's been reports that some people have to start hitting 300 mbps before YouTube TV will work again. How to Setup NordVPN on YouTube TV. You must first add a Google Account. To get NordVPN to work on YouTube TV, you need to add a Google account. Add a Google account. Open the YoutubeTV web app in your web browser on a PC. It's found at youtube.com/tv. On the top left corner, tap the three dots. Then select Add account. Open your Google account and connect using your Google credentials.

Set your preferences. In the YoutubeTV web app, you'll be prompted to change your settings. Go to My Account > Video settings. There are two options in the "YouTubeTV settings" page: Video Quality: Choose Auto for a higher quality video that YouTube TV produces. In this session I'm going to talk about what is a VPN (Virtual Private Network) and why they're important. Why I think VPN is an underrated thing to use. And how to actually use a VPN.

I have not used VPS (Virtual Private Servers) or even a cloud server, but I am confident when I say that we will see more and more of them starting in 2025 as the technology matures and people find use for them. The idea with a VPN is really simple: it provides a virtual connection between your machines across the internet. This means that your personal data cannot be accessed unless you want it to. The best example I've ever seen is VPN as a kind of anti-spyware: you simply install and log in and then you're protected.

VPNs come in various flavours - but they always do the same basic thing: This is a screenshot of a free VPN using OpenVPN. I've used OpenVPN once, and I don't think I could have got away with using it properly. What's great about this type of VPN is that they are relatively easy to setup, and usually provide the minimum amount of software to use. OpenVPN was perfect for the job. If you haven't tried it yet, you should definitely do it. Once you install it you only have to log in once per server you connect to.

However, the user experience is not flawless. There are a number of glitches that make the viewing experience rather clumsy. But the service has been receiving a lot of attention recently. And some of those bugs have been fixed. Therefore, you can watch Live TV on YouTube TV without having to wait for a channel to load. It's like the dream of every cord cutter.

YouTube TV was launched in June 2025 and it is one of the most sought-after live streaming services currently available. It will allow you to watch both premium and free content. Moreover, this service makes it easy to live stream your favorite programming by using a single or dual-streamer. Additionally, it has an innovative approach to live television streaming. You can get YouTube TV in over 20 countries. For example, it lets you watch up to four different channels simultaneously. It is a service that will keep you entertained.

Is YouTube TV live streaming safe? There are a number of reasons why YouTube TV may not be working for you. It's not uncommon to get stuck while trying to live stream your favorite shows. This problem occurs when there is a server or network issue. For example, there was an outage in September 2025. Moreover, the network was facing problems when it came to the ability to support multiple streams simultaneously. So, it wasn't possible to use this service without getting frustrated. Why won t YouTube TV work with a VPN?

The service supports P2P traffic for media streaming (as long as it's over 10MB) and some TV show streaming via YouTube. But in a statement to The Verge, YouTube says it doesn't "want our network to be used as a way for copyright infringements to go undetected." They want to stop these things happening on their site, where they're responsible for what content goes up. So while you may have more control over your own VPN provider, you lose some of the security a VPN provides, like encrypted traffic, and it's less useful if you can't see that traffic. On top of that, any P2P apps will still probably have other ways of determining where you are. You might get away with P2P on your own WiFi, but you'll have far fewer options if you're on the open internet. This does mean your ISP and its policies are out, though. And for a company so focused on privacy and security, they really didn't want to get too close to the kind of data people would want a VPN for.
