What is the plot of the Amok Time?

The Amok Time is a science fiction film directed by John Carpenter.

It was released on March 10, 1986, in the United States by Warner Bros. And in the United Kingdom by ITC Entertainment. The story follows the crew of the Enterprise who are sent to a remote planet where they encounter a deadly alien life form called an "amok".

Plot. The USS Enterprise is heading back to Earth from a five-year mission. The senior officers are in the briefing room and Captain Kirk tells them that the next step for the mission is to travel to a planet called Ryker's World. During the briefing, Kirk makes a strange comment about being unable to find the ship's captain's chair. An aide enters and informs Kirk that there is a message from Starfleet Command for him. He excuses himself and leaves the briefing room.

In the transporter room, Kirk takes command of the Enterprise from Lieutenant Commander Sulu and orders a red alert. He tells his crew that their next destination is Ryker's World. The landing party prepares for the landing, and Ensign Chekov is the first one to board the landing craft. As the party prepares for transport, a small boy with long, blonde hair and a blue dress is watching.

The landing party arrives on Ryker's World. The ship lands and the landing party steps out of the craft. They meet a Rykerian, a humanoid species. The Rykerian tells the party that the planet's air is poisonous to humans, but the planet's atmosphere is not toxic to Rykerians. The landing party beams back to the ship, which leaves Ryker's World.

The Enterprise is in orbit of Ryker's World when a distress call from the planet comes in. The ship receives the signal and begins to respond. The ship's doctor, Dr. McCoy, tells Kirk that the planet's atmosphere is poisonous to humans. When Kirk asks why the Enterprise should go there, the senior officers in the briefing room tell Kirk that the planet is uninhabited. Kirk orders the ship to take on more supplies and fly over to Ryker's World. When Kirk and McCoy see the planet, they discover that the planet is inhabited by creatures that look like large ants. The ship lands and the landing party beamed down. The landing party and the crew meet the Rykerians again. They are welcomed to Ryker's World and are led to their quarters.

She told him that they were his family back then, but as a little girl. Then later I know the film Spock was born before the ship landed, in Star Trek VI.
