How do I restrict apps by age on Iphone?

How do I restrict access to apps on my iphone?

So, I am jailbroken for the first time in a long time, and don't know if there's an app which will do what I want it to.

? I don't want a certain app to be accessible outside of a specific location. And I do want to be able to change the restriction once in a while, maybe per day. I do want to restrict by specific locations, if possible.

Is this possible? With just about any jailbreak tool, you can use the built-in Cydia Substrate plugin to install custom policies (that is, restrictions) onto the iPhone / iPad. There are two ways you could install the custom policy in this scenario: The first method would be to edit your existing .mobileprovision file with CydiaSubstrate, as detailed in the following tutorial: The second way would be to create a new custom policy with CydiaSubstrate and copy that entire profile over to your current .mobileprovision file (this latter method is described here: ).

Note that if you want to do this to an iPad, then you'll have to use the aforementioned tutorials for the process of getting CydiaSubstrate working on the iPad.

How do I restrict apps by age on Iphone?

I want to restrict apps by age in my Iphone.

For example: the apps from the ages of 10 to 17 are allowed to be used, the ones from 18 to 25 are only available to adults and so on.

Is this possible? And how to do it? Thanks a lot. You can set restrictions in your iPhone's settings. On your device, press and hold the Home button to bring up the main screen.

Press Settings. Select General. Scroll down and click Restrictions. In the Restrictions screen, select Age Restrictions. Note: If you're running iOS 4 or earlier, this feature is not available.

How do I restrict 17+ apps on Iphone?

I am working on a website project wherein all the app permissions must be restricted.

One of our clients want us to make a Iphone apps that is allowed to make a call, read the book from my Library but we are not allowed to use the other features such as music etc. Please let me know your views and suggest an best solution. Is the best solution to restrict using some specific web services?

Check out RestrictionSDK. It was my recommendation which one to use when I have worked on it previously, and its still actively maintained as at 3 months ago. It allows you to: control access to certain types of content. for each content type. It may also be possible that you need to look at iOS7 as there is no more of the security sandbox and you can't apply restrictions any more. You would do this by implementing the didRegisterApplication:withIdentifier:forRemoteNotifications: API call as per the documentation.

How do I change age restrictions on Iphone?

Hey there.

I have an iphone 4. I bought it new when it came out and I know that there are two things that will change about the phone after that time. First is the fact that it will be a 16GB version of the phone. The other is that all of the content that you use will be locked out after that time.

My question is, is there a way to change the restrictions that go with the phone after that time? I am curious to know if this is possible. I would like to know how to make the phone more usable if I want to continue using the phone on my own terms.

Re: ? You cant "change the restrictions". You can only unlock the content.

The new IOS is much easier to deal with. Just open up the settings and go to General > Restrictions. Then, choose the person you want to restrict it to and scroll down to "Do Not Allow." And that's it. From then on, that user will not be able to use certain apps on the phone. If he changes his mind, he simply needs to go back to the Restrictions menu and turn it off.
