How do I unblock unknown apps on Android?

How do I unblock unknown apps on Android?

I have a HTC One X. I recently downloaded the Iberian Romance (Spanish) app. It's free (and it's from the Play Store) but I can't get it to run. I can't figure out how to unblock it, or where it is installed.

I can do this on the HTC One V, but I am not sure how you would do it on this phone. I have tried the "find my device" option, but it just says that my device is not found.

Is there some kind of trick I can use to figure out where the app is installed on my phone? In case this matters, I don't have root. The Google Play Store for Android is one of the best apps out there, it has a lot of interesting functionality and is pretty easy to use. To answer your question: Create an account under the "My Account" tab. Select your phone from the "My Devices" tab. Click on the "Apps" tab. Most apps are organized alphabetically, but the games section is sorted by the last update. If you want to see an app by category, click on "All apps" Find the app you want to unblock. Click on "Edit App Details". Click on "Block" in the unblock list. To find your device, you can use the "Find my device" functionality. Which works for a lot of other applications out there (eg games, drivers.

I have an HTC One X, and I don't have root. I am having the same problem. I've tried to follow the procedure of block unknown app. But I can't figure out how to do this. I have tried to click on "find my device" but it says that my device is not found. Please help!

This is actually easier on the One V, because you can just open the Settings app, go to the "General" tab, tap on "Device Info", click on "Status" and you'll see a message that says "Not blocked" or "Blocked". Check that and it should be unblocked. Create an account under the "My Account" tab. Select your phone from the "My Devices" tab.

How do I access blocked apps?

How can I access blocked apps? You can access blocked apps by using SafetyNet to grant access. In multi-user devices, SafetyNet allows you to turn the app's access off, or allow a specific user or all users to access your apps. On single-person devices, it is only possible to allow access to all users, so a user whose access has been blocked cannot access your restricted apps.

After your app has been blocked from either of these methods, you must restrict the app's ability to execute any of its Android APIs. The following sections explain how to access the apps you have blocked individually and how to access all blocked apps. Access individual apps. Note: If the app is blocked due to the admin permission setting, you also have to set the active property of the child activity to false (as shown in the Activity section below). The following code snippet demonstrates how to access a blocked protected resource. Here, we are obtaining a blocked resource URL from the blocked service list. Because these resources can be blocked by SafetyNet, they might not contain all of their authentication information (such as the authentication URL) and might not actually be available.

How do I allow blocked apps on Android?

I have an Android device that I'd like to do some testing on, but it's more locked down than I'd like. I know that the usual method of getting around the restrictions is to root the device, but it doesn't seem like this is possible on my phone. I've managed to get in via Tethered Mode, because I have access to the USB port, but it still doesn't seem to recognize my USB keyboards and mice, nor has it been able to recognize any apps. The phone is a Nokia Lumia 800, and I have it currently set to Windows Phone as my OS of choice.

My question is, is there any way to actually allow USB debugging to carry out properly, and get around this issue? I'm currently at a loss as to what to try next. Thanks in advance, and I hope this is the right place for my question. Thats what I was wondering. Now we know why it didn't work. I guess I'll download a stock ROM for my phone then. Thanks for your help!

EDIT: Also, I think this is probably more of a question for Microsoft than it is Android. I haven't ever seen the question asked directly on their forums. My guess is that the question has been asked somewhere on their forums, but I've never been able to find it.

EDIT 2: Got it! It was here: THanks for your assistance, and I hope this helps others looking for the answer! Yeah, I know. It's actually really old, and I'm surprised that it's still showing up. The Lumia 800 is a pretty old phone, and it's not like it's that hard to do. I've been trying to use this computer the last couple of days. I may have just been on the wrong website, but this is the one that came up when I searched my question.

Yeah, the process has been around for a while, but I just found out about it today. I'll have to experiment some more. As for the phone, I'm not even really sure if it's possible though. I have a Samsung Galaxy S and it's been rooted and unlocked for a long time, but I don't remember having to go through the process of enabling USB.
