How do I bypass blocked websites?
We all want to get around blocked websites, we want to get past that wall. How do you do it? I have tried VPN and proxy but nothing works.
I am looking for a solution that is not very technical but is easy to use and works on almost any device. I have tried apps like Unblock-us but they are complicated to use.
My question is, what is the best way to bypass websites that are blocked in China? I don't care about speed, just know what to look for in an app that works. I just want a simple solution, like most of you. Thanks If you want to get around blocks without being a technical wizard then you can use the browser version of Unblock-us. The interface is pretty straightforward and it doesn't require you to install anything.
It will unblock sites for you one by one without you having to do anything. If you use the Android version of Unblock-us then it has a built-in search function which you can use to find websites you want to unblock. It's much easier to use than the browser version of Unblock-us.
@freetruthful: I have been using the browser version for years and have found it quite easy to use. The search function makes it easy to find sites to unblock.
@Bastian: I tried the browser version and it works but it's not intuitive. I know how to find blocked sites in the browser version. I tried to use the search feature but it wasn't intuitive. If I typed a word in the search box it didn't give me results, it just kept searching. This was my first clue that something was wrong. After I found the settings and entered the correct settings I did get results.
I don't want to spend time fiddling with the settings when I'm looking for a simple solution. I just want to bypass blocked websites and I don't care how easy it is. I just want something that works.
@freetruthful: I used the search function a lot and it was easy to find blocked sites. The only time I had issues is when I used a different browser at the same time. I tried Firefox and it didn't work. The browser version worked but it was too slow to use.
How to bypass school restrictions without VPN?
Is there anyway to bypass school restrictions on Netflix and other streaming apps? I hear this is a common issue with school's that use BYOD to block these apps. I've even tried installing them through an Android VM but it doesn't work since schools can see what you're doing.
I know this seems to be a noob question but I'm very new to tech so I have no clue on how to do stuff. So I guess my question is can they detect what kind of hardware you are using or is there any trick to get around these limitations? Re: ? Yes you can circumvent this, at least for Android (for the most part). The issue is that you need to have both Android emulator AND a jailbreak. That can become difficult if you're looking to buy the tablet, because different manufacturers lock their tablets in such ways that you'll need the specific jailbreak to unlock the screen. With phones (which aren't locked), just about any smartphone will do.
My recommendation would be to find a working Android 4.3 jailbreak and follow all the directions found online to turn on your device's rooted state before following the instructions on this website to install the Netflix app via Google Play Market instead of Cydia or Xposed framework.
If you haven't already, you need to find an xposed root script on another thread that works on your device (check the "Android emulators" section of this list: And once you find one that works on your device, you need to root that as well (you could do it yourself, or use an automated service like www.xda-developers.
