How to do job wrapping on LinkedIn?

How often does LinkedIn job wrapping work?

I have a job wrapped up on LinkedIn.

After sending the job for review, the HR person said that they could not send it through HR because of some concerns about me. The concern was that I was "trying to get a job on the back of a job." They asked me to change my contact information and re-apply for the job.

I said this was ridiculous and asked them to send it through HR. The person from HR replied that she had already reviewed the job (this is not true). She also said that I was supposed to be working at a previous company and the new company didn't know I was working there. So I re-applied for the position. The HR person then replied that she would get back with me.

I don't know what to do at this point. I don't want to mess up my current job and I don't want to lose the opportunity at the new company. I don't want to continue to re-apply for jobs if I am not getting any bites. I don't want to be turned down by HR for contacting the company for a job.

What is a good strategy for getting an interview at a new company? Update: I talked with the HR person from the new company. She said that she is willing to interview me and consider me for the position. However, she told me that the job is a brand new company and she has to consider the applicant history of the company. She told me that the hiring manager of the company doesn't even know who I am.

She also said that if they can't hire me as a result of my "history," that she will send the job to a "different person" and not send it to me again. Should I give up on getting this job? Should I try to find another job? Should I just give up? Update 2: I received a call from the hiring manager of the new company. He said that he thinks that he should be able to hire me and that he did not want to get turned down for a job. He also said that he was happy to give me a call and schedule an interview. He said that he wants to learn more about me and see if we are a good fit.

He did not specify whether he was referring to a "history" or a "history" of the company.

What is the difference between job wrapping and job slots on LinkedIn?

You can read about job slots and job wrapping on the official documentation of LinkedIn, but you can also just read this post I wrote a while back.

The big difference between these two is that job slots is an internal function and is used to give jobs to people. As for job wrapping, it is a function that can be called from a function to wrap a job so it looks more attractive in a given context. You can use job wrapping to make a more readable graph of your job history, for example. This post is not a how-to guide about using job wrapping and job slots in your own functions. I'll leave that to you to figure out yourself.

What is a Job Wrapper? A job wrapper is a function that will take in a job and wrap it in a function to display it as an experience graph (like LinkedIn). A job wrapper should only wrap jobs that are relevant to the context it's being used in. If you are trying to graph all of your jobs, then you don't need any job wrapping at all.

If you have many different types of jobs, you can add them to different wrappers. For example, you can have one job wrapper that wraps data scientists jobs, another for designers, and so on.

For my data scientist job, I have a job wrapper called datascientistjobwrapper. Here's what it looks like.

And here's an example of how it works. I've done some research on the different wrappers LinkedIn uses and they are as follows. Wrapper Name Purpose datascientistjobwrapper Data Scientists. Job wrapping with data science skills. Dataartistjobwrapper Data Artists. Job wrapping with art skills. Dataengineerjobwrapper Data Engineers. Job wrapping with engineering skills. Datamanagerjobwrapper Data Managers. Job wrapping with management skills. Dataproductjobwrapper Data Product Managers. Job wrapping with product management skills. Designerjobwrapper Designers. Job wrapping with design skills. Salesjobwrapper Salespeople. Job wrapping with sales skills. Salesengineeringjobwrapper Sales Engineers.

In other words, there are wrappers for different types of jobs.
