Thanks. Randy. Sling has absolutely NO limitations for channel licensing, no matter where the channels are broadcast from and there is no geographic restriction. As a rule of thumb, Sling is not a 'real-time' channel distributor in the sense that you can't "just tune it and it's live". Every channel that can be watched live at any time in the world is available with Sling - and usually in different qualities, too! That also means that every channel that ever has been seen by a paying Sling customer and that has any kind of video content is available under some format with Sling. With the most recent software release (V1.7), there are some new channels which have had some old archived video content included. Most of those will have been added to the catalogues, but some may have missed being added or they were uploaded to VOD by another company which has been absorbed and now part of Sling.

So yes, absolutely, there are never limits on licensing from any location in the world as long as you understand exactly how Sling works. That might still be the answer to my original question. Are there any rules regarding the number of hours each channel has? There are some channels which say 2:30 each day but don't have all of the content listed if you want to watch the entire run. I couldn't find information on how many episodes it has of a particular show on each channel either.

There are no 'hard and fast' rules on any of this, but it is quite possible that only one ep for a series is on at a time, unless it has a very complex schedule. This does vary from channel to channel - and often also differs over time, so if you can see specific channel guide data for the channel you're considering then that would give some idea of the details.
