Is Chrome no longer working on Windows 7?

When I started using Google Chrome a month ago, it worked great on Windows 7.

However, today I noticed that I could no longer open Chrome (even after installing the 32 bit and the 64 bit version). The program is still running, but doesn't respond to clicks or keyboard presses. However, when I try to open Chrome from the Control Panel, I get the "could not find specified registry entry" error. If I try and open my web browser, Internet Explorer, it works perfectly.

I can open up system information and see that Google Chrome has stopped working, and I can't install it. What do I need to do to fix it? The following instructions should get you back up and running on Windows 7: In the Start Menu, type control panel. Right-click Control Panel, and then click Uninstall a program. Select Google Chrome. Click Next. Click Finish. Restart your computer.

Does Google Chrome support Windows 7 32 bit?

Can you please list out the features that 32 bit versions have, so that I can use them instead of 64 bit?

I don't know the difference between x32 and x64 and if Chrome supports either. So, can you guys suggest a list of some features that only 64 bit has.

As a developer, I do recommend 32 bit apps for my users because of memory and performance. If you really care about that, I highly recommend looking into Java. (Note that Java does run in 64 bit with JVMTI extensions, and most modern Java implementations have these extensions as well.
