Is a vault safe or not?
I'm planning to install a small keypad safe in my home office.
I am looking for something easy to use, but also security minded. What do you all think? My options are either a vault or a standard safe.
As I write this, I'm still not sure. For example, I've seen safe with a manual crank that I could use to open the safe, and others that require a fingerprint or PIN to open. I'm leaning toward the latter, but I want something I can feel secure with.
It's a small space that I'm trying to protect. My biggest concern is that someone would use the safe as a doorstop. I don't want a safe that I have to take apart to open it.
Re: ? I also installed one of the "easy to use" safes that use an armature pull system. It took a lot of effort to get it up and running, but I was fairly satisfied with the installation. That said, when the alarm system is on, it will ring if you try to open the safe.
I installed one of the more expensive safes that are equipped with a card reader and biometric system. I did have the installer call me when the job was completed because the first time I opened the safe, it required a PIN to open. I had to run down and get it reset.
In any case, your question seems to boil down to how much are you willing to spend. I am interested in the same safe and I have some questions. One of the things I am interested in is the door design. Do you have any idea what the door looks like?
Also, do you know anything about the security system? I have seen safes with biometric security. I have not seen safes with PIN-based security. The safe I am looking at is using a sliding door.
The door looks like an accordion door. The safe I'm looking at has a biometric lock, but I think it's just a visual lock since it does not have a combination dial. They will be available later this year.
Can Photo Vault apps see your photos?
I use Photo Vault to store all of my photos that are on the iDevice as well as photos that I upload from my camera.
I always backup the photos first to my computer via USB and then later into Photo Vault. I was just wondering if Photo Vault could see the photos I store in Photo Vault.
No, Photo Vault does not see your photos. It only sees the metadata you have set, which include "Date Taken," "Date Edited," "Number of Photos in Folder," etc.
Hi there! This is one of the greatest tutorials on the web for iOS. Very informative and easy to follow. I am a total noob at iOS but your tutorial has gotten me well on my way. Thanks for all your effort!
I have been reading and reading, still don't get how I can see the photos on my Iphone 4. All I can do is view folders and I can't see any photos that are in those folders. I can copy them to a pc and view them with photo vault, but how do I see them with photo vault? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks so much! I also had some problems with this tutorial and your comments were a big help to me. I am trying to figure out how I can add photos to my Iphone 4 from the iPhoto app on the computer. I have tried dragging the photos onto the program and that didn't work. Do I need to download something to get this to work?
You will want to download a file called Mobile Transfer. This software will allow you to transfer all of your photos off of your iPhone. The easiest way is to back up your iPhone to the computer using iTunes, open the mobile transfer app, select "import", and select your iPhone. Then you just drag the files onto the app and let it do the rest.
I tried doing this and I can't see my photos from iPhone or computer. Also I'm unable to import photos from my iPhone to my computer. When I drag the files over to the mobile transfer app it won't import them.
Can you give me some direction? I can see the folders but they don't show the pictures. They show up but when I click on them to see them nothing happens. I'm stumped. I've tried several things but I've hit a wall.
