Why does my iPad say Safari could not open the page because the server stopped responding?
We recently started experiencing issues with the Apple iPad, and we have been able to diagnose the issue.
We receive a message stating "Safari could not open the page because the server stopped responding." and our Internet connection seems to be the issue. For instance, we can open and close various Safari web pages without issue.
When we try to go to a webpage that requires an Apple Pay login we receive the error "Safari could not open the page because the server stopped responding." Our Apple Pay login credentials are stored securely on our Apple devices and other websites seem to open with no issues.
What is the best way to resolve this issue? I have tried uninstalling all iTunes apps, updating iTunes, and restoring iTunes from our latest backup but I still receive this error. We also attempted to update Safari on the iOS device but when we navigate to the Software Updates window we receive the following message: "You need to restart your iPad to install software updates." I was having the same issue. I tried using a new Apple Pay login for testing purposes and it was resolved. So it may be a problem with your account. You can delete the payment data for this account, and then enter it again, to see if that resolves the issue.
Why does it keep saying access denied on this server?
I've just installed a web server, and my /var/www folder is chmoded to 777 so that I can easily update it.
The problem is that whenever I try to upload files through my web browser, it tells me that I do not have permission to access /var/www/bla. In order for me to actually be able to upload the file, I need to chmod it to 777. But when I do so, the permissions change back to 700 or 750. Is there any way I can fix this so that I can upload files through my web browser?
In your case, chmod 775 /var/www/bla would solve the problem.
How do I fix access denied in Safari on iPad?
I've been having a problem on my iPad with accessing certain websites.
I know this is a well known issue, but I was wondering if someone could please assist me? The websites that I have been having problems with include: BBC Sport - The website is not displaying correctly, the photos are not displaying and sometimes they don't load at all. I have also been having issues with the App Store (it will not open). I have tried: Updating Safari.e. Restarting the iPad. Checking for updates. Deleting cache and cookies. Using different Wi-Fi networks. But nothing has worked. The only thing that has worked to date is turning the WiFi off and on again.
Has anyone had the same issue? What would you suggest I do to fix it? I had the same issue while using "BBC Sport" on my iPad 2. The solution for me was to open Safari on my Macbook Pro, then click on the BBC Sport app icon and it works fine now.
