How do I stop VPN from blocking my Wi-Fi?
There are some VPNs that block Wi-Fi traffic.
This means that the VPN will stop other devices on the network from connecting to the Internet. The only way to fix this problem is to contact the VPN provider, but it can take a while to get a solution.
To check if your VPN is blocking Wi-Fi traffic, visit. Step 1. Make sure your VPN is up and running.
The MyWiFiShiHT VPN is available in three versions: (i) free version - no log data; (ii) paid version - limited log data; (iii) paid premium version - unlimited log data. A VPN will often have options like a log policy or speed, which you can see by clicking on About in the menu. Some VPNs have a dedicated option for the log policy.
On the MyWiFiShiHT VPN homepage, click on Options and then Advanced Options. You should see the following options: Click on Log Policy and then on Show log. See the example below: If the log policy is set to No Log Data, then there is no logging. If you are using the paid version of the VPN, then the log policy will be listed as Limited Log Data. If you are using the free version, then the log policy is No Log Data.
Select Show log and then Show log and see if the log policy matches the one in the image above. If the log policy doesn't match the one in the image above, then go to step 3. Step 2. Check your network settings.
If you have a router, then the Wi-Fi setting in the router configuration is where you will find any blocking. Check the name of your router, and the Wi-Fi security setting (WEP/WPA2-PSK) Some routers use a different name, such as Wireless Lan or Wireless Network. On the router configuration page, you can usually see the Wi-Fi settings under the name of the device, or the device model name.
Why wont my iPhone connect to Wi-Fi with VPN?
I have been using my iPhone with a VPN connection for the past few months and it has always worked perfectly.
But this week, I have been trying to connect to my home Wi-Fi network while using the VPN and the connection will not succeed. It will say that there is no internet connection but when I look at the network settings in the phone, it shows that it is connected to the Wi-Fi network.
I am connected to the internet through my ADSL router and the Wi-Fi network is on the same subnet as the ADSL router. The phone is a 3G iPhone 4 (32GB). Can anyone help please? UPDATE: I tried to reset the phone and it worked for a day or two but now it is back to the problem. UPDATE 2: I just noticed that if I use the WiFi hotspot on my iPad, it works fine. So I think the problem is with the Wi-Fi router.
I have done some research and I found this article which might help me: I have already tried all the steps mentioned in that article but I am still having the problem. I have also read that sometimes the Wi-Fi router will stop allowing the Wi-Fi connection from the iPhone 4 so that could be the problem. Here are the steps I did so far: Removed the Sim card and put it back in. Enabled/Disabled the Wi-Fi hotspot on the iPhone. Turned off and turned on the Wi-Fi router. Updated the firmware on the Wi-Fi router. Updated the software on the iPhone. Reset the iPhone (twice). It has been working fine for about a month and now it is not working anymore. Update 3: I found this: which says: If you're using an AT&T iPhone 4 or later, with iOS 5.
