Are there any good new movies out?

We've been so obsessed with the new TV series on Netflix called Hemlock Grove that I've neglected to check the movies out at the local video store.

I guess it's time to remedy that.

I want to see Powder Blue - a movie based on the life of Mary McCarthy - and Blue Jasmine. Other than that, what are some good movies that are worth checking out? I read somewhere that The Dark Knight Rises is very good. I saw that in one of those video book stores along Hollywood Blvd. I can't remember which one, but if you get the chance, it's worth checking out.

Good movies out there? Mona's movie review site is very interesting. I checked it out, and it has some good reviews. It's an art site for art-lovers. She also reviews movies, music, and books.

And finally. What are the best new movies out? And also, any good shows that people have been watching? This is from the video store where I live. My question for you is what are your favorite movies/movies you think are worth checking out (at the moment, of course)? If you are interested in some great videos to check out, then you should definitely be watching The Dark Knight Rises. Now I would just like to say that I hope you all have a great day or evening tomorrow! 1) It's the Batman trilogy. You might consider it blasphemy, but these three films hold up. I'm not gonna go over each film but all three, as a package, hold up very well.

2) Battleship. A fantastic popcorn flick. You should check it out.

3) The Amazing Spiderman. The Spider-Man flicks never quite did it for me. This is an actual movie and its a very fun watch.

The Fault in Our Stars. It's hard to argue with the fact that Fault in Our Stars is a beautiful love story about two cancer patients trying to find happiness together. This is probably the best movie of the summer, if not the entire year. It's based on the bestselling book of the same name by John Green, and is already a bestseller. There are a lot of movies that deal with death, but few that deal with death while also exploring the idea of life and how to live it.

The Way, Way Back. Kevin James is a nice guy, but he is also kind of a moron. That's the message of The Way, Way Back, the story of an awkward college freshman (James) who finds out that his parents are trying to kill themselves. Luckily, he's befriended by a nerdy girl named Sam (Alisha Wainwright) who he ends up saving. What makes The Way, Way Back work so well is that it's a movie that feels real and relatable without being corny or obnoxious.
