I have a simple application that I need to host for a client.

In this application the user will be able to access multiple sites that I host. They have no choice on where the user will go once the user clicks on the site they want to view. Once they are done they will leave the site and they won't be back. This is the reason why it is an http proxy server. The proxy server is running on the client and will forward the requests to the real website and then pass the response back to the client. This is so the users don't have to make a call to the real website everytime they want to view another site.

The problem is that some of the sites I am hosting require registration before I can allow the user to visit them. When this is done I will have to send them a cookie saying that they have successfully registered and then they will be able to view the rest of the sites on the proxy server. I have not implemented the cookie yet.
