For over two decades, Belfort lived the high life in New York City, doing as much as he could to enjoy his success, until a major scandal forced him to close down all his businesses and send his pregnant wife to prison. At age 43, Belfort is broke and on the lam when he's contacted by Donnie Azoff, a shady lawyer who wants Belfort to help him win a huge settlement in a major case. Belfort reluctantly agrees to help, and after a lengthy legal battle, becomes embroiled in a complex web of drug money and dirty politicians. Based on the book "The Wolf Of Wall Street," written by Belfort, Martin Scorsese's biographical thriller is one of the most highly anticipated films of 2025.

The film follows three men as they try to bring order to the chaotic world of Wall Street in the 1980s. There's Jordan Belfort (DiCaprio), a high-rolling stockbroker, who, after a series of fraudulent schemes, finds himself in the middle of a series of money-laundering investigations and criminal trials. His best friend, Donnie Azoff (Jonah Hill), is also a stockbroker. Their careers are on the rise, but their friendship comes to a crashing halt after a string of bad investments on Jordan's part leads to the collapse of the partnership. Jordan and Donnie take stock in what happened and the two go separate ways. Years later, Donnie tries to rekindle his relationship with Jordan while working as an executive for Deutsche Bank.
