I just read an article on Google's official website about their new free VPN service.

And, if you go to the page where they say, "Find out why anyone should use a VPN and what a VPN can do for you". Then, I found that they have a hotspot shield app for Android.

I would like to know if it is still possible to use Hotspot Shield for Free. I love their service and used it for many years.

Some users report that the service works just fine but others report that their connection is very slow or even no connection at all.

If you really want to use the service, I suggest that you also try their paid version. It may better in terms of reliability and speed.

Re: Does Hotspot Shield still work? This is true but were also told that there are more servers added as well as the free version and that the service has improved a lot. So, it is also working fine if you are willing to pay for it.

@matt. I have always been using the Hotspot Shield as a free Android VPN, but lately I noticed that I was not able to get a good connection. The connection would either be extremely slow or completely disconnected.

I think that the service is not as reliable as it used to be and therefore I have decided to try the paid version. I have already tried it and so far so good.

I am going to get a new phone and use hotspot shield. You can also use them on your computer but it requires a program that costs money. If you have a new phone with android, just find an app called mobile hotspot shield (the one I use) that you can download for free from google play and once downloaded you should be able to turn your phone into a wifi hotspot. How do we transfer all the files from my old phone to my new phone?

It is free, when I started Hotspot Shield it was free but they changed it. In order to transfer your files from one phone to another you would need to either do a backup of the data or you would need to transfer them through the usb port on your new phone and then sync them through your email program. Hotspot Shield says: "Our new premium plans are 100% free and include unlimited Wi-Fi connections, no-limit data, and the premium features. We are not using paid services."

How does the premium plan work? What does this mean? I want to use my current premium plan for hotspot shield. I looked at the help section and it says that you have to do a paypal transaction. Go to your paypal account. Sign in.
