What was Spock's full name?

What was Spock's full name?

And where does that name come from?

Or maybe where did his father and grandfather's names come from?

The full name is Sarek. It comes from the character of Lieutenant Pavel Andreievich Chekov in the series Star Trek, who at the time was a Russian officer under the command of Captain James T. Kirk. The son of Lieutenant Chekov, named Sarek (sometimes, Chekov was never pronounced as Sergei, this is why it's listed as "Sarek" rather than "Sergei") was also played by Mark Lenard and his grandson (and Mark T. Is his first name) is Spock, which was the original name for the character.

When Sarek was portrayed by Roddenberry, his father was given the name Paul Leonard Sarek (and the actor, Gary Hutzel).

Why do they call him Mr Spock?

If Spock is like the most of the other Star Trek characters, then that's just stupid.

The character in the Star Trek series isn't real. It was created by people who never met an alien and based on some dumbed down fantasy.

The writers, directors, and actors of Star Trek were so smart that they were able to pull off a TV series where every character they created had a point that wasn't only funny, but thought provoking as well. If you have watched all of the episodes or movies, you know that Mr Spock was the leader of the Enterprise. But was he really that smart?

According to his brother, Spock grew up in a home where the older brother was the father. He also went to a Vulcan school where he learned much of what he knows about the universe. If Spock was real, he probably would be on the list of top brain surgeons. Mr Spock was not the first real life Vulcan; there were many before him.

The Star Trek writers were not stupid. If you study history, you would find out that there were real life Spock. It is possible that Mr Spock was originally named Keir. The reason that he was given the name Mr Spock is because the people who created him were trying to bring in aliens. I am sure they didn't care to know anything about Vulcan culture or history. So, they picked the name Mr Spock because it was the easiest name.

Mr Spock is nothing more than a creation of genius writers, directors, and actors. To this day, these people are still recognized as geniuses. If Mr Spock were real, he would probably be on the list of the world's smartest people.

Who would have guessed a bunch of actors could make such a believable, popular, and intelligent series? But that is the case. I love Star Trek. I love all the Star Trek characters. What would we do without Spock? No one would want to work for the starship Enterprise. Spock was created to help the crew of the starship. If you were on the Enterprise, you would follow Spock's orders. The Enterprise needs a good captain. The crew needs a leader. The crew needs a real leader.

The Enterprise needed a real leader with a mind of his own. It needed a leader who was a great tactician. And, the Enterprise needed a leader who was really smart. It needed someone who could think outside of the box.

What are Spock's powers?

Okay, I don't mind admitting it.

I was on edge the last three episodes of series four watching Spock try to make sense of a new Vulcan mind-melding technology, just after the events of 'The Enemy Within'. He's been out of his head for two and half years.

What is his powers? How does he see the world differently than anybody else? Can he see the point of the Federation without losing himself in their purpose? Is this the secret that he hasn't told Kirk? How about McCoy? Does he have 'psychic' abilities of his own like Spock? I always thought the show was meant to be science fiction rather than fantasy. But when I was a kid I saw many SF films and books where they were trying to create these fantastic and fantastic worlds and universes and I got to like that as well as science fiction. So you see it more as science fiction not just based on science alone, you know, like Star Wars kind of. The first series, 'The Cage' was a little out of the ordinary with the whole telepathic vision/communication thing, Spock is obviously very special because of it, but so are the other cast members. Sulu and Uhura are at that stage in the relationship where they talk and their communication skills have advanced greatly from when she first entered the ship. They're really good friends. It's great to see these young people develop. Chekov, too, although the episode I saw later on when the ship has been travelling a long time, they've been pretty much mates all that time but have just reached the point where we see them more as friends. Scotty is still the same - the way he deals with machines is very much at home in the universe. It wasn't until The Naked Time where we actually got to find out what Kirk thinks about the ship.

From 'The Cage' we get to know about the characterizations, Spock in particular and McCoy, too. From that episode we've gotten to know these people are on board the Enterprise, and we can form some feelings and opinions on these characters. We've begun to notice a difference between Chekov and Sulu, we've begun to realize Kirk is somewhat arrogant and we also understand why there's conflict between him and Spock.
