Why are pages not loading in Safari?
Why is the page not loading?
I was doing a search to get the correct spelling for a business name, and when I get to the search results, the page doesn't load. I have to click the arrow on the URL bar and then refresh the page. Has anyone else experienced this?
This is just starting to happen with my site, though if I type something in to the search box and hit enter it works perfectly. But if I then go to the site by typing the address directly into the browser, it doesn't load correctly. The top of the page loads fine, but then it just stops.
The browser was originally set to Safari, but the problem has continued regardless of that.
How do I reset my Safari browser on my iPad?
Safari can get a bit glitchy and if you click on a link or load up a page, it will be really slow. In such a case, you should reset Safari.e. In other words, close your Safari browser and then open it again. For that, press and hold the Apple button and home button together until a spinning wheel appears. Then, go to Settings, and select Reset. If the browser opens but appears to be stuck, double-tap to wake it up, and then press and hold the home button and Apple button together until you see the spinning wheel appear.
IPad Pro. How do I set up Face ID on my iPad Pro? If you have an iPad Pro, it's important that you set up the feature properly so you won't have any trouble accessing it when it's time to unlock your device. Set up the device's biometric sensor, or facial recognition system, by going to Settings > Touch ID & Passcode. Turn on the switch for the feature, and select your face from the list of enrolled faces. If you don't want to set up your face as a secure unlocking option, just turn off the switch. When you remove your iPad Pro from a case, look for the sensor on the front and back of the device.
How do I set up a Face ID on my iPad Pro? Before you head to Settings, make sure that the device's Face ID is enabled. Hold down the power button for around ten seconds, which will enable you to access the feature by simply holding your face up against the screen. If you find that Face ID isn't working, you might need to make sure that the device's sleep/wake feature is turned on by going to Settings > General > Camera Usage Description.
The Face ID feature enables you to unlock your device without needing to enter a passcode. To set it up, open the Settings app. Then tap Touch ID & Passcode > Face ID. Select your face from the list of enrolled faces. You can enroll more than one face. If you don't want to use Face ID as your secure unlocking option, tap Turn Off in the bottom right corner of the window.
Why is Safari so slow to load pages on my iPad?
Since upgrading my iPad to iOS 11, Safari seems to be slow to load pages on the device.
This seems to be more of a problem when viewing pages on the app store, but even simple websites like those on the Apple News or Apple Music sites seem to take longer than they did on the older iOS versions.
I have an iPad 2 (2016 model) and I am running the latest version of iOS 11.1 (I know I am really outdated).
What could be causing this? It's probably because the site you're viewing has poor caching of assets (a web page contains all the content in one document). If you don't want the user to wait, then you should add a HTTP header to prevent caching.
WebKit, the rendering engine of Safari, includes a way to cache static resources. When you visit a site, the web page is read from the server and cached for the duration of your visit. The purpose of the cache is to reduce latency for the next time you visit the site, but it's also a big privacy issue. When you browse the web, your browser gets the HTML for every site you visit, then caches the file locally so it can be loaded faster next time.
Safari has an option to disable the cache for any site. To do this, select Preferences, then Advanced, then Web Content, and set Disable Cache to Yes.
If you disable the cache, then the next time you load that page, it won't be cached and so will load much faster. The default setting is No.
How do I fix Safari not loading web pages on my iPad?
I got 2 years ago and iPad.
One of the first features that I did is make all links clickable. However, with every web browser in the App Store, all links are just blue in color and there's no option for white link color.
How do I force my Safari to show regular blue links in app pages (or even better if it's possible) and change all link colors when clicked. The reason why I'm asking this is that I don't want to set up the user to be able to have a normal clickable web on an iPad, which will automatically add me for the payment every time I click on the links that I've set already. I thought of putting links through CSS, but I guess since it's iOS Safari, it will be too time-consuming and I won't be able to guarantee a working website when trying to make a new one.
