How do I become a Google beta tester?

Do Google beta testers get paid?

Not really.

They might get some swag like stickers, or the official Android phone case.

The only way to get paid is to sign up for the Google Apps program. If you want to get paid from beta testing I think you're better off using some other company, like TestFlight or AppCrawlr. My girlfriend and I test apps in the Android Market all the time, and we don't get paid. We are not part of Google Apps, however, but you can take a look at my site (it's not updated in a while though). We do it mostly out of personal interest, although I have gotten a few stickers for our testing efforts. I did beta test two apps before their final release. And they gave me a free upgrade to the final version.

Do I need to be a church member in order to be part of the local church ministry? We love the idea of having churches join our movement together. However, membership in our mission teams and other ministries is not required for people to become involved in the local church. By becoming involved, people get the privilege of serving alongside our church members.

If you have any questions, please let us know. We would love to help you become part of what God is doing here in your area.

Can someone be a part of more than one of our ministries? Yes. We realize that not everyone can serve on every team, but each of our ministries serves individuals in a different way. This allows a person to serve in different ways that best fit his/her ability and passion. We have a few people who have served in multiple ways, such as working in the education team and our campus ministry, and in the development team and our ministry to children and families.

What do beta testers get paid?

I just took part in a study to try to find out.

I am an experimenter by nature so I always like to find out more about people and their experiences. So I tried to see if there is any money for anyone involved.

This survey was done for a magazine called Future Proof. If you go to Future Proof you will be able to read about the study there. It will explain how they got to know about me, my job, my age, my gender, etc. They were pretty open about all that and I just thought that this kind of information could help people to understand how I think about what I get paid to do.

I just gave them my name, email and phone number and they asked me to answer some questions. That's it.

Some of those questions are How many hours a week do you work? and How much do you make per hour? and What do you earn per hour? The problem was, none of the questions had an obvious right or wrong answer. So I thought I would give a bunch of people in the survey the same responses and look to see which answers were statistically more likely to be the ones given by the most people.

It turns out that I would have to make a choice between making money or working. I would make money more easily by being an experimenter because it's easier to answer this way. I don't think I could keep a job with a fixed income. What I would do if I was poor is to sell my labor power for less than the minimum wage and live on the results of those sales. I would get by just fine that way.

If you're lucky enough to have a steady salary or a job that pays a good amount, you can make a difference by volunteering for a few hours a week or becoming an experimenter yourself.
