Do Android phones have screen time limits?
I'm finding that my phone is constantly being active.
I don't even know how I got it this bad. As I write this article, it's been a full 2 hours since I got home from work, and it shows no signs of stopping. I can't imagine I have any significant tasks to get done, but my phone is not letting up. Everytime I'm on the computer, I have to deal with it. It might as well be an extension of myself.
It seems the phone has become my entire world. I'm trying to get a handle on this by taking back control of my life. The last time I left the house I said I wouldn't take my phone. The only time I'm not connected to it are when I'm on vacation and in my room at the hotel. It's a great excuse, but I still feel like it's always there. I just can't seem to cut it off.
How do I get rid of this addiction? Is there any way to restrict my phone time? Is there some sort of power saving feature that would kick in when I'm about to fall asleep? I feel like it's an impossible task, but I'm determined to find a solution. Have you ever had to reign yourself in, because you were spending too much time on your phone? What was your solution?
