Hello everyone. I am trying to figure out whether or not it is possible for a software to read and alter information contained in a file. I need to scrap data from a text file, modify it, and then output the modified file. I have the following code (which I got from here ), but I have some questions regarding the use of strcpy():
#include . #include . #include . Int main(). Fin.open("file.txt");
Out << temp;. // Clean up. Second, how do I write to a file, if I'm only taking the contents from a file? I was planning to just output the contents of the file.txt in this example, but I'm not sure what to replace the 'out <<' with.

Last, when I'm reading in from a file, the first line is always empty, so what's the best way to handle that? I'm sorry if these are very basic questions, but I've only been coding for about a month. Please advise.
