I recently purchased a MacBook Air (11-inch, 2013) with the Japanese OS. I don't think it's possible to upgrade to the Japanese version, but if there is a way to get a Japanese Apple ID for the MacBook, that would be fantastic.

The reason I ask is because I have an iPod touch 5th generation and an iPhone 5s, and I want to use the two devices on Japanese networks in Japan. However, I can't even get the Japanese Apple ID for the MacBook.

The instructions on this page don't seem to work for the Japanese version of the MacBook Air (1.1, 2013), although they seem to work for a Mac Pro and some other Macs.
