How do I force Google Play Services to update?

Why won t Google Play Services update just says pending?

I've got a LG G3 phone.

I've not rooted it, and so I don't have any ROMs or custom stuff on there. When I looked at the "Pending" updates, it listed Google Play Services as the update, but I don't know why. What can I do about it?

I don't know what my update history is, either, since I've wiped out all data with an app like "Titanium Backup." It just has the standard Android stock version and updates.

The thing is that my LG G3 phone will not allow me to get past the lock screen and then to the home screen when it says it's updating. The only way to get to that screen is to press and hold the power button for a bit, then release it. But then my phone reboots and I'm at the lock screen again. I think there's something wrong with Google Play Services, because when I've tried playing a game on my Nexus 5, it says "Google Play Services isn't working."

But then again, I didn't do anything to my device. I've just got the stock version of Android. I've seen other videos on YouTube, where people said they could download apps and stuff, but they were already rooted.

Can anyone help me? Thank you. Answer:Android 4.2: Google Play Services won t update Hello and welcome to Android Central! Before we get started, are you using a custom ROM or firmware? Because custom ROMs have lots of features that aren't in vanilla Android. Some of them make it hard to update your device's firmware. Also, some of them have some of their own software called "system tools" which may conflict with your system tools. This post is talking about using a custom recovery like TWRP, CWM or ODIN. You should only use official recovery images and do NOT try to use recovery images from other forums.

How to fix Google Play system update stuck?

Hello everyone!

I have been trying to solve this problem for 3 days now, and I'm sure it's possible to solve with Google. I'm sure that some of you may have already been able to solve this problem before, but I'm asking you to share your experience.

Basically, I've been trying to install Android O on my Moto G6 (2nd Gen). It's currently stuck on the system update screen, I'm not sure if it's downloading or if there is an issue with the Android O update.

I've tried resetting the network, removing the SD card, and reinstalling the ROM via TWRP, but nothing has worked so far. My phone was working fine before I updated to Android O. I really hope someone can help me! Thanks in advance. Solved: If you are having issues updating your Android phone to the latest version of the operating system, then you can follow this guide to solve the problem. The most common reason why the update process is stuck is due to a low storage space or space left on the device. If you run out of storage space or you do not have enough space left on your device, then you may encounter errors while updating.

To fix this problem, you need to clean up some files and apps that are taking up too much space on your device. To clean up the files and apps that are taking up too much space on your device, you can use Disk Usage Analyzer.

Once you have the files and apps that are taking up too much space on your device, you can then move these files and apps to the SD card or external hard drive. This will free up some space on your device.

If you still encounter problems while updating the OS, then you can delete the app cache and the Android system cache in your phone. This will clear out some space on your device and you will be able to finish the update process.

You can find out more about how to delete the app cache and the Android system cache on your device in the article below. Delete the Android system cache. If you have an Android device with the latest version of the operating system, then the Android system cache is located in the Android system folder.
