Why doesn't Surfshark work on iPhone?

Surfshark is a good program, but it does not work on the iPhone.

It does not even detect any internet connection, but I am sure that I have it connected to the internet. I am using the wireless network in my house. Why doesn't it work? How do I make it work? Thanks.

I don't use a modem. I connect to the internet through a wireless router. Surfshark worked before the wireless router was connected. How do I configure it? Please help.

The first thing you need to know is that the ISP uses PPPoE to connect the phone to their DSL or cable modem. A lot of wireless routers support PPPoE but not all of them do. There's a few reasons that this may be the case.

1) There may not be a DHCP server on the router that's giving out IP addresses for the devices connected to it (if this is the case, just turn off the DHCP on the router, you can turn it back on later if you need to). 2) The router may not support PPPoE. In this case, you'll need to call your ISP's tech support and get the details about the configuration on their end. If the router is a Linksys model, look for the manual and see what kind of connectivity it supports.

3) There could be a problem with the router's firmware. If the router has a web interface, you can check the firmware version to see if it's up to date. If not, you'll need to download a firmware update and manually install it.

Why is Surfshark not working anymore?

I had Surfshark working very well for months, but suddenly today my connection to the internet started to drop.

The only thing I had changed is that I installed an update to my router. The problem is that the internet is dropping, and after the computer boots up it says "Surfshark not found". I have tried everything I could possibly think of, but all the stuff I have tried has not worked, and now I can't even install anything without Surfshark not being available. Is there something else that I can do to fix it?

I found an app called Surftastic on the market that says it can connect to surfshark and work. It can even download updates and everything from Surfshark. Can you try to install it and see if it works? If not, is there any way you could see if your Surfshark is still working?

Try restarting your router. I also have a wireless network that I use to connect to the internet. It has an IP address which is also my private IP address on my network. When I boot up my laptop I have to go to 192.168.0.1 to get on the internet and I also have to change my IP address so it will be 192.100, then 192.101 etc.

I really don't understand how you're supposed to just have an internet connection on a smartphone. It's like they're trying to tell you that you can't do anything without a "special device" when the whole idea behind surfing on a smartphone is to use your phone as your own personal computer. How is it possible to surf on a phone with a bad connection if you need to type in a website name?

That was my problem, and I fixed it by typing in my IP address instead of my domain name. My friend told me to change my IP address when I got on the internet, but I didn't know that I could access my router when I booted up my computer.

What version of surfshark are you running? Can you check by clicking the start button at the bottom left of your task bar and click on the "system" button and then click "device manager" in the top left? If the version of surfshark that you are running is the latest version (7.4) then your surfshark isn't the problem.
