Why Access Denied on this server iPad?

How do I get rid of access denied on my iPad?

I cannot see my iBooks on my iPad 2. The access denied message is appearing on my iPad 2, not my iPad. Is there a way I can resolve this? Do I have to restore my iPhone 6 and wait until next month or something? I used the iTunes for the iPad tool to sync between iPhone 6 and iPad. How do I fix this? I tried connecting to the iPad with my iPhone and it did not work. The iBooks works fine on my computer and I have all of my books already on my iPad and Kindle. Thank you

Answer:? I have an iPad 2. My iPhone is jailbroken and I have an iPhone 4 hooked up to it. I was reading my book "Jolly Green Giant" and it had a link to some other site. Well when I clicked on it my browser told me "The page you requested is blocked." It gave me the option to search the web. Now there is a button where it says "View blocked content." I thought if I could find out what the webpage was for then I could go back and edit it. But the only webpage that pops up is the search tab and it wont let me search for the webpage. Is there any way to access what I wanted to edit?

I got my iPad mini for Christmas. I just bought a brand new Apple Wireless Keyboard that also works with my MacBook Pro. I'm trying to work on an issue I've been having for months: The iPad refuses to play any audio from my computer. The sound output device appears to be listed as "Headphones" as opposed to "Speaker", and I have zero audio coming through my headphones.

I know a lot of people have this problem and most solutions work for them, but none are actually working for me, at least not directly. I've gone through pretty much all the suggestions I could find on the internet as well as other forums, which were basically "go into iTunes, and choose your iPad in device options and click on the input source settings and select the port your computer uses to send audio", which I did dozens of times and still no audio. I've tried all available ports. This has happened to me since my iPad came out, and so I know it isn't a new problem. I've been searching for hours and hours, so any suggestions are very welcome.

Why Access Denied on this server iPad?

My Ipad would only allow me to access certain websites when logged into my gmail account on safari.e. It then allows me access to a few of the apps on my iphone. When I log into my gmail from my iphone, those sites load great. However, my iphone has no problem accessing the same sites while on wifi and I can browse to various webpages without gmail attached. Do I need an update? The server or safari app? Can someone point me in the right direction?

How do I fix server problems on iPad?

I'm using an iPad to try out a game server, and I need to know how to fix some problems. I can't log in to the server at all. I can log in fine to other servers, but this one just won't allow me to log in.

Also, the map I'm using is a very small area. The server runs on a Mac. I'm on a PC. I have been told that I would need to be on a Mac for this server to work. So I tried to run the server on my Mac, but it also wouldn't work. So, I'm not sure what else to try.

My friends have the same problem as me. But they say it's because of a firewall. I can't get to the server from a computer. I can only get to it from my iPad.

What do you think? Is there a way to change the server so that I can use it from a PC? Re: ? @PJ: First of all, welcome to the forums! I think you've already asked this question, but if not, please read through the following: Quote: In order to use OpenFire as a client, you will first need to set up a Firewall, as well as your router. The server will not allow outside connections (except for testing purposes), and for this reason you must have the router open to incoming connections, so that the server can connect to it.

This can be done by setting the port used to connect to the server to the same port used by the router, or by setting the port to a specific port in the router configuration. Once this is done, you should be able to connect from any computer or device with Internet access. If you can not connect from your PC, please check that your router's firewall is not blocking the port, and you are not using a firewall program that may be blocking the connection.

I can not help with the firewall or the routing, but I can tell you that the server does not require a Mac, just the software, and as long as you are running on a Windows computer, the server should work fine. @PJ, this forum is only for technical questions.

How do I fix access denied on this server?

I have a user called gv who is a local user account, on Windows Server 2023. The computer name is wdg and the user is member of Domain Users. I have given this user full control over Wdg. This worked fine, but then he got a message that the server denied access to the folder "C:UsersgvDesktop". He was not able to do anything on that folder, even with administrator permission. So he tried to fix it.

How do I do that? Do I need to do something with Group Policy or something? I am a bit lost. I have not found anything useful on Google or on Serverfault.

What I tried so far: I went to the registry and deleted the HKEYLOCALMACHINESoftwareMicrosoftWindows NTCurrentVersionWinlogon and the HKEYLOCALMACHINESoftwareMicrosoftWindows NTCurrentVersionWinlogonShell folders. This did not work.

I opened the Local Security Policy, disabled the "Deny file and printer sharing permissions on mapped drives" policy, but this did not work. I logged in as Administrator on another computer and checked the permissions on the folder gv and found that gv has full control on the folder. So he must have changed something in his local account, but I have no idea what.

When I try to access the folder from my own account, I get "The folder you are trying to access is part of a share, but you do not have access permissions to view or change its contents. Ask the owner to make sure you have access rights."

But I don't think that I need to change anything on my computer to be able to access this folder. I already looked at the user policies for gv on Wdg, but I don't see anything about any file or folder permissions. I would be very grateful if anyone could help me out with this.

As a Windows administrator, I'd first start by trying to log in as the user gv. Then check the Event Viewer for any errors that might have occurred. Then I'd try to create a new user account on that computer, and create a new user profile, to see if it's a permissions issue or something else.
