Is the Aloha Browser safe?
I have been running aloha browser since the beta version and for some reason, I can not download files anymore.
It used to work and then all of a sudden it will not allow me to download.
I was following the instructions to downgrade so that I could be safe on my computer, but, after running the .bat file from Aloha-1.17.9 (which is the newest version available) the download button doesn't appear on any browser. What is wrong? Please help me.
When using the latest version of Aloha Browser you need to uninstall the other Aloha versions, otherwise this will only work until you upgrade again. You can do this by uninstalling (by right clicking) aloha-browser on your system tray, go to "add/remove programs" and then run through and check each one of them.
I would not recommend using the latest version of Aloha. Please use an older version like 1.x or earlier.
I will test the download function after I upgraded the OS. Hopefully, it will work like before.
Thanks for your answer. When I did do a clean install on my system, I got this message. "Aloha-1.9-win32.msi is not a valid Win32 application."
Now, when I am trying to download with the Aloha browser from Aloha-1.9 (which is the latest version available), nothing happens.
I installed this latest version as a clean installation (did not uninstall the old one). Is there anything else I need to do so that I can get the download function back up and running? I am running the 64-bit edition of Windows 8.
Hello. The main error that the "not a valid Win32 application" appears if the msi of the Aloha downloader is corrupted. In that case the "not a valid Win32 application" message means that the installer file Aloha-1.msi has been damaged. In such a case, even if you uninstalled aloha-browser, the error will persist.
So in order to resolve this issue you should try and extract the aloha-downloader.msi file from the zip file of the Aloha Browser and try to run it.

Is Aloha Browser available for PC?
Can someone help me out here?
I downloaded the file and I'm trying to install it. When I run it from the folder, it starts up, but when I try to enter a URL, it just sits there and nothing happens.
On my Mac, I download the .dmg file and then I drag the aloha-browser.app file into the Applications folder. Then I double-click it and it works fine.
However, I don't know how to do that on my Windows laptop. Can someone please help me? EDIT: When I run it, it loads to the homepage, but as soon as I hit a link, it closes. EDIT 2: When I run it from the folder, it doesn't open in the browser. It just loads and closes after that.
Thanks in advance! I'm sorry, I'm not sure if I can do this without causing you to get banned. This is a very new forum so we haven't had time to work out the rules yet. The best thing to do is go to the support forum () and ask your question there.
