How do I know if my child is being bullied? Bullying is when one or more people have been intentionally hurt or threatened by another person, and it's often repeated. Bullying doesn't just mean bad behaviour, like being hurtful to others, it includes behaviours such as spreading rumours, threatening violence, name-calling and stealing.
It's important to understand that bullying often starts when children are very young. You should look out for signs of bullying in your child. If you think your child is being bullied, here are some things you can do:
Talk to your child and ask how they are feeling. Ask them if anyone has been bothering them or hitting them.
If you think you need to report your child to police, check out our article on what to do if you feel your child is being abused. If you are worried about your child, talk to their school, doctor or a trusted adult who can help you. You may want to consider talking to your child about bullying. Talking about it helps children to understand it and can reduce feelings of worry and shame. You can also ask for support from your child's teacher, the school counsellor, a teacher at school, a trusted adult or a psychologist.
What is the OurPact app for teens? The OurPact app is for teens between the ages of 13 and 17 years. We know that for most teens, having access to their health information is a big step towards getting the care they need.
This app gives teens the opportunity to keep a private log of their health and wellbeing in a fun and engaging way. The OurPact app gives teens the option to connect with their doctor if they need to, including if they're experiencing stress or emotional difficulties. Teenagers can share their health information with their doctor and choose whether they want to see their doctor face-to-face or via telehealth.
Can I delete parental control app?
Hi there, I had Windows parental control app installed, which I have accidentally deleted.
However it is still showing as installed, and I can't remove it even after rebooting the system. Can I somehow uninstall it without having any issues? Or are my parents gonna hunt me down for playing with their privacy settings? Thanks!
Hey guys. I've been getting lots of new windows error popup messages in my startup list and it has gotten a bit annoying. When I click the "Error Checking" link in the startup list and go to the next screen where I can click on the "Details" link, the following information will be displayed: Windows cannot find D:Program FilesWindows Parental ControlWin7Restart.exe. However when I click on "Dangerous Applications" tab, this error message will not appear. Am I correct in thinking that there is an issue with the Win7Restart.exe file that I should remove? If so, can anyone suggest how to do this? Thank you
I was unable to delete Parental Control in the Start Menu Control Panel. How can I remove or uninstall it without having to go through a reinstall? I need a few days off from my computer. Thanks in advance.
Hi there, I have windows parental control installed and whenever I sign into gmail, it takes a while and it says "you are blocked". The program will not go away. Is there any way to uninstall it?
I have windows installed on my laptop with several different account users. ? I haven't had much luck removing/uninstalling parental control with Win7. I haven't found a proper answer/resolution.
Try a couple of things. Click Start, click the search box, enter Control Panel, and then click on "Control Panel" under the first listing.
If you get a warning screen, hit the OK button. If you get something similar to "This program is asking to make changes to your computer. You are not allowed to make changes unless you first agree to a license agreement," use the Advanced button (it looks like an arrow) to select "Change Settings and Security."
You'll probably get an error screen but just choose "OK". You're all set for the next time you click Start.
Is OurPact trustworthy?
In a nutshell, ?
You decide. As we go deeper, it's going to look like a simple question with a simple answer. But here's the thing: trust is hard to quantify.
For most of us, at some point, something in our lives has been hurtful. OurPact is an expression of something new, though. It's a new way of working with money that is based on truth rather than pain. And this is really important: money is not inherently honest. People who have hurt us can be trusted until they get hurt again - and after that, wellthey might be on their best behaviour. At their worst, though, they can be destructive. The things people say when they don't want to be seen are often the things they feel. When people do the right thing, our trust should never have to be revisited. When our pain goes un-heard, however, it's a different story.
But even if you know somebody is trustworthy, you might not know that they understand what this means. After all, trust itself isn't a thing. It's more like a feeling. And for me, at least, feelings are not always logical. Feelings are about connection. How much does your relationship with someone matter? Is a person you've worked with now trustworthy? You might be thinking about whether we can be good business partners. For this post, I need you to put yourself first, though. I need you to consider how you'd feel if a friend used money as a weapon or lied about you to get ahead. So let's ask you a question:
How long would it take for you to want to cut ties with that person? Now, it doesn't really matter what the number is, and I'm assuming here you're looking at this from a logical point of view. If a friend did all these things but you still wanted to keep being in touch, even after you were hurt badly, then we can agree that money did not play a part. But if you were just getting over a breakup, and even after that, you'd want to keep in touch, the other person clearly played some part in that.
This is true for me.
