How do I fix my proxy settings on Google Chrome?
I have recently noticed that Google Chrome is not working well with the proxies I'm using on my Windows 7 machine. It seems to use a proxy that has a name of 'Direct Internet Access' (I don't remember what the IP address is).
My browser was working just fine until I started using the aforementioned proxies to access news sites. So, how do I fix my settings to stop Chrome from trying to use the Direct Internet Access proxy? I tried googling it, but I couldn't find anything about how to fix this issue. You should probably be using a VPN instead of using your proxy/NAT, if that's the case. If not, try this: How do I set up Internet Explorer to use a proxy server to access web sites? How do I fix this proxy requires a username and password?
This may also be a bug I haven't been able to fix with help so far. When the player goes in a building and it should load, it freezes and says It seems my computer has gone crazy. And when this happens it says. The proxy service 'xxx' requires a username and password, and you have provided no user name and password. Please check that you have not blocked this service on your Firewall or your Internet Service Provider. Error connecting to internet proxy. The proxy server is refusing connection.
This is the only way that I can get to the building that I'm going into. However, it keeps showing that message even though I set the proxy to manual.

Why is my proxy site not opening?
I have a site which redirects to a different domain. It was working fine but since a while it isn't working. I've used Firebug and I see that the "302 Found" is being set properly, but the actual browser doesn't show anything. If I go to another site and enter a wrong URL, the redirected URL is shown in Firebug. If I then click on the Proxy error page button, I get redirected again, and the correct pages is now showing in Firebug. That's how it works when it works, but it does not when it doesn't work.
Can anyone give me an idea what might be the problem? I have done a research and found the following solution: The solution is setting the headers HTTP header of Apache. To do this, open your Apache configuration file (in my case .
