How do you install Aloha?

Install via the Google Play Store is simple. After downloading and installing Aloha (in the first instance just to make sure it works!), navigate to the main application menu - you'll be able to open, edit and save PDFs here. It's as simple as that.

Is it Free? Yes, this is a FREE app! Why hasn't this been made available before? At times we have worked on different project streams. Aloha has been created by, worked on and tested from the same team for years and this year was our first look at the iOS release. We have found that the iOS apps we work on tend to take a lot more resources than our Android ones, particularly on a low-powered phone like an iPhone SE which doesn't do the best of work. Aloha has proved to be an enjoyable app to create for us which has led us to put the Android app in its place. Aloha for iOS will come much later than expected but, again, we think it will still be worth waiting for.

How do you manage updates? Aloha uses what we call 'channels' to notify you of updates, as they occur. These channels are as follows: We're working on the Android app constantly in and amongst our existing development projects. Our goal is to ensure we build the highest quality app we can, and if you find bugs or if you need to tell us about issues, please let us know! You're welcome to email us at team@alohacore.com with any issues, questions or suggestions (and yes, we'll be watching for our first 'Feedback Wanted' section in the FAQ!) How can I edit my bookmarks? When first opened, the Bookmarks list is blank and all items are unticked. To edit these bookmarks, simply tap on the empty bookmark area.

If you get a 'no matching entries' error, make sure you delete every item in your bookmark list. Why do you keep saying you'll add support for adding images? When we launched our free version we said that adding images wasn't easy.

Which app is better than Aloha?

It seems like the same functionality, I'm not seeing anything different between them

The only real difference is a bit that Aloha stores things in the database whereas Hello does not. They are basically meant to be alternatives to Outlook contacts (if you use your phone for other things than email). So, Aloha gives you a quick overview of your recent calls and SMS' so you can see if it was your mother on the other line when you missed your appointment. But, hello gives you a quick count of your total calls and SMS so you can see how many things you usually do or where you usually call/text from so you don't end up giving out your number so often.

If you do find yourself using Hello or want to try it for SMS, it really comes down to which contacts are in your contacts. If you have friends and family who also have it installed and if you send each other the same type of information regularly, I would prefer to keep my phone contacts separate so I can have a personal list and group contacts with people who I want to contact me as such. But, you do realize you can delete your personal list from the application completely once you have set up group ones right?

So I've decided I'll have to wait and see what the other folks think. With the number of good looking games on Android this year there's nothing I need to download now.

It's certainly one of the better looking Android games I've seen though. I think it looks much better than the Facebook game called "Hangman Deluxe" (Which ironically was also a remake of an old Atari game) but that's all I really know about the other game as I haven't played it yet.

So it's a lot different from just getting the game but not having the app. Is Aloha just an App you install onto your phone? With Hello there is an app. But you can't have the app unless you do the registration. If you register with the free version, you get to see the stats but if you go pro, you get more than that.

And yes, Aloha and Hello basically do the same thing. Just give them a spin and see which one you like best.
