Does Surfshark have proxies?

Which proxy should I use?

My ISP provides me with a proxy that I can use on my browser, like the following: proxy.

Example.com:80
As far as I know, this is not a proxy server (not even anonymizing proxy server), but something I can use to make it easier for people on my network to access the Internet, so they are not required to provide their username and password. I tried to get this information from the proxy documentation, but it only describes the function of the proxy.

This doesn't help me with choosing the best proxy for me. I prefer an open-source proxy that I can easily configure and use with my existing configuration tools like GNOME Boxes.

I'd vote for Proxifier. It's simple and easy to configure (open in your favorite editor to modify the settings).

I find it especially useful for configuring proxies when you're away from home - it makes it simple to create a list of proxies for various places you regularly connect from.

Should proxy settings be on or off?

I have two browsers.

One is on and the other is not. I have a proxy set on the computer that runs the browser that I don't want to run. Can I turn off the proxy settings in Internet Explorer 9? I don't think it's possible because when I go to it says "proxy settings are required to display this content" but I'm not running the browser through a proxy. Is there a way to do this? Thanks!

Here's how I got rid of the proxy settings. I didn't see any way of doing this in IE9, so I just turned off IE and set it up as I normally would. Go into options, privacy, and security, scroll down to the Network section, scroll down to the Internet Options heading, click the Settings button and then uncheck the box next to Set custom proxy settings for your home network. When you do this, you'll be able to access the internet without the proxy settings. It's a little different than having them on or off, but the same idea.

I don't know if you could do this with IE9 but when you're at a new site it tells you what type of settings you need to put in, this isn't actually a proxy but I use it all the time when I'm in a hotel without my own internet connection. How did you get that to work, does it require a special program? And, have you tried disabling it by turning off the proxy settings in IE? We've been looking at this issue recently, but haven't found a solution yet. No, I just turned off the "Set custom proxy settings for your home network" option, and then went to and everything worked.

How do I use SOCKS5 proxy Surfshark?

Introduction: I have been using a few proxies for the past year. All of them have been through the "normal" process of visiting and filling out the form to add a new proxy. Each time I went back to the site, they had changed something. A few months ago I decided to make a more permanent change.

Problems: At first, I didn't have a problem. Then my ISP started shutting off ports. I decided to try and use the built-in firewall on my router to get around this. It didn't work and I ended up using Socks5 instead.

Things I tried: I spent a while trying to figure out how to configure Socks5. I found a lot of tutorials but none worked. I then found the page about it on their website. They give you a basic example and tell you to copy and paste it.

I followed their instructions to the letter. The only difference is that I put the addresses in there as 192.168.1 instead of the public address. It looks like they might have changed the default to this by now.

Problem: The problem is that I can't connect to the web sites I need to connect to. Everything else works fine.

Steps taken so far: It doesn't matter what I try, I still can't connect to the websites I need to. I think it's because I'm not using the right settings.

I've tried a couple of different things. I've tried leaving it on the LAN side and then connecting to the router from my laptop with 192. I've tried leaving it on the LAN side and then connecting to the router from my laptop with the public address.

I've tried setting the LAN IP as 192.1 and the public IP as 192.102. I've tried leaving the LAN IP as 192.
