What is the best free proxy server for PS4?

I'm looking for the best free proxy server for my ps4. My internet connection is terrible and I need something to make it work better. I use pcsx2, I don't know if there is a way to use the internet while downloading the game. So I need a free proxy server that I can download on my PS4 and use it to download games and play online.
I tried using this but it just takes too long to download. It says it's been working for 3 days and it's still downloading the game. I also tried the same thing with this proxy but it doesn't even start downloading, it just doesn't load.
What do you mean by it's taking too long to download? How much time do you have before you have to leave for work or school? I have no problems with the proxy server I used, just didn't download the game right away. I waited about 10 hours and it started downloading. The other one I mentioned just didn't start downloading.
If you're trying to download games online, you can't be downloading through the internet, because that's a paid service. You have to download it through a proxy server.
Is port 8080 a proxy?
I need to know if port 8080 is a proxy. My understanding is that, port 8080, when accessed locally will be directly forwarded to the correct website (eg, ). When accessed from a different IP address (eg, outside), the server should first respond back to that IP address via port 8080 (which would then be forwarded to the correct website). Is that correct? Thanks! The short answer is yes. I think the other thing you may be thinking about is that the web server does not have any knowledge of the location of the client's address, only the public IP address and the port of the HTTP request it receives. This allows the web server to forward that request to the correct location for the client.
How do I setup a proxy server on my PS4?
I would like to setup a proxy server on my PS4. Can someone help me with the software I need? Edit: I'm currently playing with the PS3 version. If I could have access to my Mac or PC I would just download the files there and install them on my PS4.sh
./proxies.sh
If you need to do it automatically from a remote server, you will need to install NodeJS on your server and then you can run the script by typing. Npm run proxy. You can download NodeJS here. You should be able to use the Google Chrome Proxy extension, as long as you're using a desktop OS that has Chrome installed.
What proxy server to use for PS4?
I'm looking for a good proxy to use on my Xbox One as I play PS4 games. I want it to be a little more than just a simple port forward. I read on xbox forums where the guy's said he set his network adapter to "Bridged" and he could then go into his router settings and change the connection from LAN (or wifi) to "Local Area Network." Now that seemed more like a workaround than what I need. I just need it to automatically use my router as a proxy when I connect to the internet, and I need the ability to turn it off. I've used this guide (I've included in the link some example screenshots) but I can't find the option anywhere in the PS4 settings. I would really appreciate any help on how to do this.
I've tried setting the PS4 to LAN mode, bridging the adapter, and forwarding a port. For some reason the PS4 is having trouble connecting to the internet when it's on LAN mode and bridging. I was told by a friend who's in contact with Sony employees that the PS4 connects to the internet even though it's on LAN mode. The PS4 has a LAN port but apparently it doesn't detect it as being connected to a LAN port when it's on Bridging mode. In this scenario, I think the Xbox One is able to automatically proxy everything through the PS4 LAN port when I turn it on. I don't want this because I don't want the PS4 to detect me as connected to the internet. I only want the Xbox to be detecting that the internet is available through the PS4 and then it should automatically route everything through that IP. Is this possible? If not, what exactly am I trying to accomplish here?
Please help. I'm lost here. I don't know what I'm doing. I never really had to make proxy settings before because my ISP always handled this for me and my ISP uses Comcast. I don't have their name in the top of the screenshot you see below. I think that might have something to do with this, but I could be wrong. I'm not sure.
Yes, I'm aware that all connections through the Xbox One have to go through the router and the connection is then connected to the PS4. And yes, I'm aware of port forwarding.
